Mother’s Day: Our Favorite Mom Moments

WeddingPSTONE-1

In honor of Mother's Day, we wanted to dedicate this blog to all the moms and mother figures out there to show our appreciation. She's a built-in best friend with a love like no other.

We all know it's a day full of extra hugs, bundles of spring flowers, and a trip to the spa, but have you ever wondered how this holiday came to be?

In the U.S., Mother's Day is celebrated on the second Sunday in May. It all began in the early 1900s, thanks to Anna Jarvis. After the loss of her own mother, Jarvis wanted to create a way to honor all of the sacrifices mothers make for their children.

Thanks to Anna's efforts, Mother's Day was added to the national calendar in 1914, and it's now celebrated by millions!

Mothers are often a big part of a couple's wedding planning process and pitch in on the big day to offer a helping hand with last-minute details, advice, and unwavering love and support. We've rounded up our favorite mom moments from our real weddings to celebrate, so scroll on for some extra sweet photos.
