BLAIR + TYLER’S RUSTIC CHIC WEDDING

During the first week of 2020, Blair and Tyler had a rustic, chic winter wedding filled with dusty rose and sage accents, lots of seasonal greenery, sweet nods to family, and so much fun. 

Bride Blair, who is originally from Missouri, and her Kentucky-born groom Tyler first met back in 2012 through internships with the American Junior Golf Association. Two years later, they were both working for the AJGA full-time and their relationship was in full swing. 

Then, one Saturday after a well-planned but seemingly normal lunch, Tyler popped the question! Much to Blair's surprise, they were immediately joined by their close friends and Blair's sister for an engagement party.   

On their big day, lush greenery dressed the stairs, twinkling candles filled the room, and a blushing bride was ready to say "I do."

Blair wore a delicate floral lace dress with a tiered tulle skirt and held a lovely winter bouquet filled with soft pink roses, white poppies, eucalyptus, evergreen foliage, and a pinecone. Her bridesmaids wore dusty rose or sage dresses and carried coordinating floral arrangements.

Tyler and his groomsmen sported navy suits with emerald green ties and brown leather boots.

Since family is important to the couple, plenty of their family members participated in the ceremony, and Blair’s uncle served as the officiant. After the couple tied the knot, the bells at the top of the tower rang out and guests headed out to the covered patio and mezzanine for a relaxed cocktail hour. 

The main space was then quickly transformed for the rustic, chic reception with glowing string lights, vintage lantern centerpieces, and soft taupe linens from our friendors Nashville Lighting & Production, Forget Me Not Designs, Music City Tents, and BBJ Linens. 

Blair and Tyler’s guests sat down for a meal of honey-balsamic chicken, a selection of mixed vegetables, whipped mashed potatoes, and a grape and apple salad. For dessert, the couple served slices of their minimalist almond and raspberry tiered wedding cake.

After everyone filled their bellies, DJ Brad Reed got everyone out on the dance floor to celebrate with the newly married couple. After all, a great party with friends and family was at the top of Blair and Tyler’s wedding wish list! 

When the night came to an end, guests grabbed a personalized gold golf ball (such a fun nod to how they met!) and sent Blair and Tyler on their way through a tunnel of pom-poms.
