LIZ + BLAKE’S VINTAGE-INSPIRED WEDDING

Liz and Blake's biggest priority for their wedding day was to have fun. They exceeded expectations with an original, beautifully personal, vintage-inspired wedding at The Bridge Building.

Vintage decor such as family photos, perfume bottles, doilies, and old books added character and charm to the industrial vibe of the venue.

A white-washed fireplace mantle with sprigs of greenery perfectly framed the couple's sweet ceremony on the rooftop. Liz and Blake had a fresh take on the traditional unity ceremony. Instead of lighting a candle or pouring sand, they each poured a cup of dirt into a potted plant, symbolizing their union.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to an impressive display of food stations for dinner including gourmet grilled cheeses, parmesan mushroom bread pudding, roasted acorn squash, and more.

Throughout the evening, family and friends enjoyed libations from a custom martini bar and a bourbon tasting bar. The perfect fit for this vintage-inspired affair.

For dessert, the options were plentiful. Liz and Blake are huge Alabama fans, and as a result, decided on peanut butter cup cupcakes and custom cake pops in Alabama red. The dessert table was complete with sweet strawberry macaroons and a two-tiered naked almond cake with a touch of vanilla frosting. Thanks, Nashville Sweets!

With full bellies and a drink in hand, guests enjoyed a hand of poker at the casino tables from Spangler Entertainment. Custom poker chips were an adorable personal touch!

Guests danced, dined and gambled with the happy couple, and signed a vintage globe in lieu of a traditional guestbook.

As the evening wrapped up, guests sent the couple off through a tunnel of paper planes. Liz and Blake sped off in a classic white Excalibur toward their new future as husband and wife.
