Hannah and Justin said their “I dos” with a stunning ceremony between the grand arched windows at The Bell Tower and a reception decorated with romantic, rose-filled arrangements and cascading string lights.

This couple met in 2017 through mutual friends in Music City. When Justin worked up the courage to ask Hannah out (two years later), they enjoyed a nice dinner and were soon inseparable.

Justin popped the question while vacationing with Hannah’s family in Saint Simons. With the help of their new puppy, Kunu, Justin placed a new bandana on him saying, “Will you marry my dad?”

On their wedding day, Hannah and Justin shared a sweet first look outside of the Bell Tower. Hannah had a slick-back bun with pearl studded earrings and a classic ball gown for her romantic winter bridal style. Her bridesmaids were in matching black silk dresses, and as for Justin, he went with an all black tux and burgundy boutonniere.

For the ceremony, the main space of The Bell Tower was decorated with soft cascading string lights, a glamorous chandelier hanging from above, bright red rose aisle markers, and a rose-filled arrangement covering the ceremony arch, creating the most romantic ambiance.  The grand staircase was adorned with an abundance of greenery that ended with glowing pillar candles at the bottom and a blooming rose arrangement that matched Hannah’s bouquet.

After the ceremony, guests took to the patio for a cocktail hour of wine and candied bacon while Infinity staff flipped the main space for the reception.

The main space was transformed with classic round tables and separate seating for the wedding party. The romantic color palette was incorporated into every aspect of their setup with beautiful, elevated floral arrangements, full of more blooming roses, set on white linens with black napkins and pillar candles to create a warm glow.

After Hannah and Justin’s first dance to  “To Make You Feel My Love” by Garth Brooks, guests enjoyed a plated dinner service of honey balsamic chicken with roasted brussel sprouts and goat cheese polenta, bourbon glazed salmon with grilled asparagus and parmesan risotto, and smoked brisket with garlic parmesan mashed potatoes and grilled corn.

During the reception, Hannah and Justin opted to include a whiskey tasting in The Bell Tower’s Tasting Room so guests could sip on fine spirits while celebrating the newlyweds.

After Hannah changed into a shorter white dress for the reception and danced the night away with Justin, the happy couple was sent on their newly married way!

Unlocking Your Wedding Design Style: A Comprehensive Guide https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/how-to-find-your-wedding-design-style/ Fri, 17 Feb 2023 22:03:45 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=33106 Eight tips on how to find your wedding design style with inspiration from real weddings.

WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING STYLE?

8 TIPS WITH REAL WEDDING INSPIRATION

Maybe you’ve had a secret wedding Pinterest board for years and know exactly what you want, or maybe you’re overwhelmed by the millions of photos you’ve seen and don’t know where to start. No matter what boat you’re in, we’re here to help you find the perfect vibe to make your wedding day truly special. Read on for our tips on how to find your wedding style.

1. Chat with your partner

First things first, talk it through with your partner. Whether they’re giving you free reign or have their own Pinterest board, you’ll want to make sure you’re on the same page when it comes to what you both are envisioning for the day.

2. Choose a level of formality

Consider the overall vibe you’re looking for. Do you want your day to be more formal or a little bit casual? Formality will impact everything from food service to linens, to guest attire and everything in between. Nailing this down first will help you narrow down a style. Opting for black tie? Go glam. Keeping it casual? Rustic might be for you!

3. Consider the season

The season you choose to have your wedding can inform things like color palette, floral choices, linen textures, and more. Summer is a great time to incorporate tropical arrangements and vibrant colors, while fall and winter are perfect for luxe velvet linens and rich color palettes like rust orange, wine red, or emerald green.

Sarah and Joseph embraced spring by bringing the outside in with stunning hanging florals and pastel hues.

4. Choose a color palette

Once you’ve nailed down formality and the season, and talked to your partner about what colors are absolute yays and nays, it’s time to choose a color palette. Because colors evoke different emotions, it can help inform overall style and vibe. We associate blues with serenity, while reds evoke feelings of passion and love. A black and white color palette feels sophisticated and powerful, lending itself to classic, modern, or glamorous styles, while vibrant colors work well with vintage-inspired, Bohemian, and tropical styles.

At The Bridge Building, Susie and Connar's all white color palette combined with clean modern lines created an air of simple sophistication.

Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was three steps ahead of Pantone and chose a magenta color palette for her 2022 wedding. Hues of pink and red were paired with vintage furniture and striking florals, creating an overall romantic and retro vibe.

5. Consider your personal style

How would you describe your personal style? Minimalist, a little rock n’ roll, or country club chic? If fashion is an important part of how you express yourself and show your personality, think about incorporating the same elements into your wedding design.

Georgia and Chance’s October wedding was a true reflection of their personal style. Punk and goth, yet minimal.

Anna Caroline, style maven and owner of the boutique L.A. Green, incorporated fashion trends like silver metallics and 70s glam into her day. Likewise, Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was influenced by silver metallics and the trending color magenta.

6. Look at how you decorate your home

Get inspired by interior design. Our homes are often reflections of ourselves, so if you want your wedding to be uniquely you, take a look around you. How does the space feel? What colors do you use? Is your home more minimal and modern or vibrant and eclectic?

7. Consider your passions

Do you want to incorporate any shared passions into your decor? Maybe you have a shared love of gardening or you're passionate about your family heritage; these elements can influence your style.

Bridge Building bride Emmy loves Bonnaroo and has been to the music festival every year for the past decade. She brought the fun, festival vibe to life with vibrant florals, oriental rugs, vintage lounge furniture, disco balls, and more.

8. Find a muse

You should have a pretty good idea of what your wedding style is at this point, but if all else fails – find a muse. If you’ve seen a wedding you love on TV, in a movie, or in a magazine, that’s a good place to start. Royal weddings, like Meghan and Harry’s, are loaded with classic wedding inspiration. Mandy Moore’s is what boho wedding dreams are made of, and Audrey Hepburn’s is sure to spark ideas for any vintage enthusiast. Who's your muse?

At the end of the day, don’t feel like you have to fit in a box. Create harmony by combining different elements and styles to truly make your wedding your own.

Here’s a look at Mindy and Gary’s romantic and rose-filled winter wedding day at The Bridge Building. A day filled with a lot of love and sweet, personalized details!

This couple met through a church choir and dated for six years. When it came time to pop the question, Gary found the perfect opportunity to get down on one knee while walking the shore of the Waikiki beach in Hawaii.

When they started planning their wedding, Mindy and Gary wanted to focus on good food and lots of florals. And with the help of our Instagram page and a thorough Google search, they decided The Bridge Building was the perfect spot to tie the knot.

Mindy looked stunning in her sweetheart neckline, mermaid gown with a classic full updo. Her bridesmaids wore mix-and-match burgundy red dresses, while Gary and his men wore coordinating brown houndstooth suits with burgundy bow ties and pocket squares.

For the ceremony, the space was set with a greenery arch of roses at the end of the aisle, a glamorous chandelier above, and a beautiful view of downtown in the background. While saying their “I dos,” Mindy and Gary shared sweet personalized vows and included a unity sand pouring.

The space was then transformed for the reception, using their ceremony arch as the backdrop to their sweetheart table! The tables were decorated with white linens, burgundy napkins, and romantic floral centerpieces of greenery with red roses.

When guests found their seats, they enjoyed a plated dinner prepared by the in-house chefs of maple mustard glazed chicken with whipped potatoes and broccolini, rosemary maple pork chops with creamed kale and parmesan polenta fries, and a Creole shrimp and grits.

After dinner, Mindy and Gary shared their first dance to “Everything” by Ella Mai and continued celebrating with their family and friends! Mindy told us her most memorable moment of the night was when her groom serenaded her with a song. How sweet!

Meg and Will said their “I dos” with a stunning ceremony between the grand arched windows at The Bell Tower and a reception decorated with gorgeous drapery and chandeliers.

The couple shares a modern day love story of meeting on a dating app, hitting it off from the beginning, and knowing they had something special!

On their wedding day, Meg donned a Pronovias dress with a gorgeous cathedral train. She wore a beaded hair piece, elegant updo, and held a classic, long stem, white rose bouquet. Her bridesmaids wore matching  velvet gowns in a beautiful deep red. Will looked dashing in his military uniform, and their pup, who was a special part of their day, sported a classic black tux!

The main space at The Bell Tower was decorated with soft white drapery set between the windows, several glamorous chandeliers hanging from above, and dark chiavari chairs facing the windows, creating the most romantic ambiance.  The grand staircase was adorned with more white drapery and floral arrangements that matched Meg’s bouquet.

The space was later flipped for the reception and filled with round tables and a classic king’s table for the wedding party under the grand windows. The color palette of champagne and blush was incorporated into every aspect of their setup with the beautiful and elevated floral arrangements set on white linens with champagne-colored napkins and candles to create a warm glow.  As a special touch, Meg and Will’s  names shined in white lights against the wall with a custom gobo from Nashville Lighting and Production.

With it being a December wedding, the couple incorporated special holiday details to bring in the magic of the season. They asked guests to write their well wishes on red ornaments that were then hung on a Christmas tree— a cute alternative option to the traditional guest book!

Meg and Will then shared their first dance to “Something About the Way You Look Tonight” by Elton John—a special song, as Elton John was their first concert together. Guests then gathered to dance the night away, and that they surely did!

Madding + Brooks’ Elegant New Year’s Wedding https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/madding-brooks-elegant-new-years-wedding/ Fri, 16 Dec 2022 02:00:10 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=32520 An elegant winter wedding ceremony and reception going into the New Year.

The post Madding + Brooks’ Elegant New Year’s Wedding appeared first on Infinity Hospitality.

Madding and Brooks celebrated their marriage with an elegant wedding day starting at the First Presbyterian Church in Nashville and ending at The Bell Tower, which was filled with refined style, lots of florals, and New Year’s celebrations!

Both Madding and Brooks went to the University of Auburn but didn’t meet until attending a mutual friend's wedding after graduation in 2017. Although they ultimately had a connection, they didn’t start dating until that following fall when they ran into each other again at an Auburn football game. When you know, you know!

Brooks later surprised Madding while she was working a photoshoot of her pastor. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!

When it came to planning the big day, Madding knew she wanted a refined classic look with lots of flowers, and we think, with the help of our team, they hit it on the nail! She also said it was most important to find just the right venue, have a great band, and capture the day perfectly.

They started the weekend with a rehearsal dinner at the Bridge Building. The space was set with a head table in navy linens with three round tables in white, all with gold chiavari chairs and tall centerpieces full of greenery, white flowers, and pops of red blooms. Our in-house chefs prepared a custom tapas stations with a lamb loin with mushroom risotto and broccolini, smoked gouda grits with shrimp, and beef tenderloin with potato gratin and brussel sprouts. Guests then celebrated with a cake by Dessert Designs.

On her wedding day, Madding stunned in a classic off-the-shoulder ball gown with a cascading white bouquet of orchids and peonies. Her bridesmaids had matching green velvet dresses and bouquets of greenery with champagne ribbons tied around the stems. As for Brooks and his groomsmen, they rocked classic black tuxedos with white boutonnieres.

After saying “I do” at First Presbyterian Church, the wedding party took a trolley over to The Bell Tower and enjoyed a pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta bite and a gimlet named after the couple’s dog Teddy before finding their seats in the main space.

The main space was transformed into an elegant and romantic dream, full of cascading drapery, glamorous chandeliers above, and abundant candles on every table to create a warm ambiance. The grand floral arrangements filled the room with whimsical greenery and white blooms with pops of pastel blue, purple, and pink. The flowers served as the table centerpieces but also lined the white stage facade, decorated the grand staircase, and draped across their white six-tiered wedding cake.

While Madding and Brooks shared a private meal together, their guests dined on a stationed dinner with different kinds of risotto, salad, roasted vegetables, and mashed potatoes, and later had a late night snack of gourmet french fries and quesadillas.

Before the clock struck midnight, Madding and Brooks cut their cake, shared a sweet first dance, and passed out their party hats! Guests counted down to the new year and everyone celebrated with silver streamers, beads, and all the fun as a live band played to celebrate the newlyweds.

Rachel and Camron celebrated their New Year’s Eve wedding with an intimate winter ceremony on the rooftop and a moody, boho reception in the main space of the Bridge Building.

Rachel, from St. Louis, and Camron, from Philadelphia, met while working at a summer job at Six Flags and knew their connection was more than just a summer fling! Later on, Camron got down on one knee at the Forest Park in St Louis.

During their time dating long distance, these lovebirds would spend a lot of time in Nashville, so they knew this was the perfect place to tie the knot. With the Bridge Building being a short walk from Broadway and having an unbeatable view of downtown, the venue was an easy choice!

When wedding day arrived, Rachel and Camron shared a sweet first look before the ceremony on the riverfront patio. Rachel stunned in a romantic lace ball gown with exaggerated off the shoulder sleeves and a boho bouquet full of dried florals, pampas grass, proteas, and earth-toned pastel roses. As for Camron, he went with a blue suit and ivory tie to match the neutral style of Rachel’s bridesmaids, who wore mismatched beige and champagne-colored dresses.

The ceremony was set with a nighttime view of downtown Nashville, glowing Christmas trees as the backdrop, and crisp winter air for an intimate setting to say “I do.” Rachel and Camron also had their family and friends participate in a candle lighting ceremony to symbolize their unity.

Afterwards, guests took to the main space to grab a glass of champagne with their table number, and got ready for a plated dinner of herbed chicken with broccolini and roasted yukon potatoes and blackberry pork loin or bourbon glazed salmon with grilled asparagus and parmesan risotto.

The Cumberland space was decorated with a mix of farmhouse and round tables, black silk napkins against crisp white linens, moody bulb string lights and candle centerpieces surrounded with greenery. The head table, decorated with roses and a greenery garland, was dark wood with a modern black backdrop that was adorned with striking, bold boho floral arrangements that matched Rachel’s bouquet and a custom white LED sign featuring the couple’s newly-shared last name. On display was their classic, white three-tier wedding cake adorned with dried flowers and pampas. And for their guestbook, Rachel and Camron used a map of Nashville as an alternative for family and friends to sign to remember this very special day. The guestbook table was decorated with sweet photos of the couple and a modern black sign with gold lettering.

Before the night came to an end, Rachel and Camron shared a first dance and then enjoyed Nashville’s annual firework show on the rooftop as they headed into the new year with their friends and family as newlyweds!

Here's a look back at Halle and Mason’s winter boho wedding at The Bridge Building with a moody color palette of burnt orange and black details that we haven’t stopped dreaming about.

These Nashville natives met through mutual friends during their college years. Mason later proposed during a New Year’s Eve party at Halle’s parents house in 2019.

On their December wedding day, Halle wore a fitted gown with a long train and sequin details, while Mason was in a green velvet jacket with an orange boutonniere to match her bold orange and white bouquet. As for the wedding party, Halle’s bridesmaids and Mason’s groomsmen were in all black attire.

They said their vows in the Cumberland space against white drapery and hanging greenery on a rust orange oriental rug that created a boho vibe. Pillar candles lined the aisle and greenery wrapped the industrial beams of the space, creating a cozy atmosphere.

After the vows, guests mingled for a cocktail hour with classic tomato bruschetta and hot chicken biscuits as Infinity staff prepped the main space for the reception. It was designed with mixed tables featuring pillar candles surrounded by greenery and amber glass bud vases with bold orange blooms and dried pampas, rust orange linens, and a sweetheart table with rust-colored chairs.

Guests found their seats for a stationed dinner of gourmet french fries, quesadillas, salad selections, and build-your-own sliders.

Halle and Mason later shared a first dance to “Conversations in the Dark” by  John Legend. Then the dance floor was opened on the rooftop, which was decorated with string lights and a disco ball adorned with pampas grass and greenery, filling the night with lots of love, laughter, and flips!

Here’s a look back at Mary and Joe’s classic indoor garden wedding ceremony and reception with a neutral color palette this past January at The Bell Tower.

Mary and Joe, both high school AP English teachers, met teaching at the same school. While working together, they became great friends and were dating other people when they first met, but when they both became single, they took their opportunity to be together!

The couple was engaged in the beginning of quarantine while renting a romantic cabin in Georgia. They went on a hike one day and Joe let Mary walk ahead for a little ways before he surprised her with the proposal. Mary said she knew it was coming  but didn't know exactly when and she was so surprised in the moment that she forgot to say “Yes!”

When it came to the vision for their day, Mary said she wanted a formal, black tie optional wedding and to feel like a high-end cocktail party with movie premier vibes.

Mary wore an elegant lace gown with a deep V neckline, a classic waist-length veil, and held a stunning, cascading bouquet full of wild greenery and bright white blooms. Her bridesmaids wore mix-and-match black gowns with smaller versions of her bouquet. Joe and his groomsmen kept the elegant, black tie look going in sharp tuxedos with white boutonnieres.

The I dos were held in the main space of The Bell Tower in a beautiful ceremony. The aisle was bordered with white rose petals and warm pillar candles, with large standing floral arrangements of greenery and white roses at the entrance and altar.

After Mary and Joe were pronounced as husband and wife,  the guests moved into the covered  patio space for cocktail hour. It was decorated with white paper lanterns, string lights, modern white lounge furniture, trees and plants, and seagrass rugs, giving the space a luxurious, natural feel that tied into their ceremony perfectly.

While guests mixed and mingled outside, Infinity’s event team flipped the main space for the reception.  The room was set with bright white linens and black chiavari chairs that created the elegant look and feel Mary wanted. Tall floral arrangements stood at the center of each table, full of mixed greenery and white flowers, with smaller arrangements and candles below. Our grand staircase and original wood columns were wrapped in Jackson vine to bring the indoor garden look to life, and the room was lit from above with iron chandeliers from Nashville Lighting & Production.

For dinner, guests chose from several food stations, including gourmet french fries, sliders, surf & turf, and risotto. And then the dance floor was open to keep the celebration going!

LARSON FLORAL CO.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITE LOCAL FLORISTS

With a keen eye for aesthetics and a love for all things pink, Natasha Larson and her team at Larson Floral Co. are one of our most beloved vendors.

Natasha has worked in the Nashville floral and event industry for over 12 years.

"I have such a genuine love for flowers and weddings. They bring me so much joy," Natasha explains. "Anyone can learn to design, but when you design with love and passion, that makes all the difference."

Working alongside Natasha to make all floral dreams possible are seven creative women; Dena, Becky, Ashley, Destiny, Monica, Angela, and Ashley.

Scroll on for a Q&A with Natasha herself and be sure to check out more of her work in our real wedding blogs.

1. How did you get your start in the floral industry?

I was given a floral manager position at a Kroger 12 years ago. After a few years, I had an opportunity to do my first wedding on my own, and I never looked back. The excitement of the wedding day was addictive!

2. What’s your favorite part of your job?

  1. When you hit it on the nail and your clients and their families tell you you hit it on the nail.
  2. The relationships we [are] building with clients and vendors.
  3. Opening our weekly boxes and seeing what is coming in!

3. How has your experience been working with Infinity?

My team and I  love all the planners and staff at Infinity! We have been blessed to be a part of their vendor team! It's wonderful going to a venue on a regular basis!

4. Do you have a favorite flower?

This is a hard one. I love them all, but if I had to pick one it would be stock. It comes in all colors and the fluffy shade is great!

5. How would you describe your style or aesthetic?

Whimsical garden; however, we can do all styles from boho, garden, romantic, and traditional!

6. What’s your best kept secret when it comes to florals?

I know how to make a flower look like a peony when they aren't in season!

7. What’s your current favorite floral trend?

Color! I am loving all the different shades our clients have picked this year!

8. Any tips for couples?

  1. Be honest with your flower budget. This cuts a lot of back and forth and helps us guide you to your vision but with budget-friendly options in mind. Everyone has a budget. It may be $2,000 or $10,000 for florals, but there is a “I'm not spending any more” moment.
  2. Have a few photos picked out that you like the most to show your florist, [and] then give them the artistic ability to make your vision come to life.
