If Daisy Jones & Billy Dunne Said “I Do”

Warning: Some minor spoilers may be ahead!

From the fashion to the music, and everything in between, we’re feeling inspired by Amazon’s miniseries Daisy Jones & The Six— and we’re not the only ones! We’re sharing our take on the retro era and making it come to life in 2023 style.

So picture this… The band is back together, and we have exclusive rights to plan Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne’s wedding. We will be sharing our thoughts on her bridal style, wedding venue, reception decor, personalized details, and more.

Keep scrolling to see inspiration from real weddings and ideas on how you can have a Daisy Jones-inspired wedding, too.

SHE WAS DRESSED IN…

Inspired by true icons like Stevie Nicks and Cher, Daisy Jones’ style is Bohemian, feminine, and very rock n’ roll, so of course her wedding weekend style wouldn’t be any different.

For the rehearsal dinner, she rocked a sheer cape with beaded stars and silver detailing over a sleek silk dress. On the morning of her big day, she got ready in a comfortable silk robe with scalloped sleeves, simple embroidery, and, of course, fringe detailing.

She later changed into a fitted gown with large lace detailing and dramatic bell sleeves for her intimate ceremony, and she held a beautiful organic bouquet of moody greenery and rust-colored florals. For the reception, she swapped her heels for a fun boot and a fringe leather jacket.

IT WAS LOCATED AT…

We can’t think of a better spot for Daisy and Billy to tie the knot than the Estate at Cherokee Dock. With towering trees, sprawling lawns, and lakeside views, the estate is a gated paparazzi-free oasis. Their wedding weekend would begin with an intimate rehearsal dinner in the stables the night before, followed by a ceremony on the Lakeside Lawn the next day, and a reception on the Sunset Terrace.

IT WAS DECORATED WITH…

A classic 70s color palette of mustard, rust, gold, and Persian red was weaved throughout the decor, from the retro lounge furniture to the florals. The ceremony was set with mix-and-match vintage seating and a statement floral arch on the Lakeside Lawn of the Estate at Cherokee Dock. Statement pampas grass lined the aisle with layered boho rugs leading to the altar.

As for the reception, a mix of classic round and farm tables filled the space with wood crossback chairs. The place settings included rust-colored napkins and lots of candles at the center of each table to enhance the intimate environment with whimsical wildflowers and greenery to compliment Daisy’s bouquet.

On the patio sat lounge areas for guests with more vintage velvet seating, rattan chairs, and gold accent tables.

WITH PERSONALIZED DETAILS LIKE…

Inspired by Daisy Jones & the Six’s tour, the invitation suite was a concert ticket with a classic Hatch Show Print-style save-the-date and a response card with a place for guests to request a song for the reception. The seating chart was created with old records, and the guest book was a gifted guitar from Teddy Price.

Daisy’s wedding party–consisting of Karen Sirko, Simone Jackson, Billy’s daughter Julia, and her own daughter as the flower girl— wore mix-and-match orange and neutral dresses that expressed their personal styles.

Out of respect for Billy Dunne’s sobriety, delicious mocktails were included with their open bar. And in homage to Camila, some of her favorite photos during her time with the band decorated the remembrance table. A camera was available for guests to take their own Polaroids, too.

Photography by Details NashvilleSarah PartainSara Bill Photography, and Taylor English Photography

NOT TO MENTION THE LIGHTING…

The reception space had an earthy environment with hanging greenery and disco balls above the tables. For dancing, the room was set with a fun color wash to enhance the celebratory ambiance. A neon sign reading “look at us now” was hung on the arch used in the ceremony and served as a photo booth backdrop for the reception.

On the outdoor patio sat marquee letters saying “You & Me,” which may or may not be a foreshadowing of their next single (crossing our fingers).

AND THE WEDDING EXIT…

In Daisy Jones fashion, she encouraged her wedding party to jump into the pool, dress and all, at the estate instead of doing a traditional send-off.

WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING STYLE?

8 TIPS WITH REAL WEDDING INSPIRATION

Maybe you’ve had a secret wedding Pinterest board for years and know exactly what you want, or maybe you’re overwhelmed by the millions of photos you’ve seen and don’t know where to start. No matter what boat you’re in, we’re here to help you find the perfect vibe to make your wedding day truly special. Read on for our tips on how to find your wedding style.

1. Chat with your partner

First things first, talk it through with your partner. Whether they’re giving you free reign or have their own Pinterest board, you’ll want to make sure you’re on the same page when it comes to what you both are envisioning for the day.

2. Choose a level of formality

Consider the overall vibe you’re looking for. Do you want your day to be more formal or a little bit casual? Formality will impact everything from food service to linens, to guest attire and everything in between. Nailing this down first will help you narrow down a style. Opting for black tie? Go glam. Keeping it casual? Rustic might be for you!

3. Consider the season

The season you choose to have your wedding can inform things like color palette, floral choices, linen textures, and more. Summer is a great time to incorporate tropical arrangements and vibrant colors, while fall and winter are perfect for luxe velvet linens and rich color palettes like rust orange, wine red, or emerald green.

Sarah and Joseph embraced spring by bringing the outside in with stunning hanging florals and pastel hues.

4. Choose a color palette

Once you’ve nailed down formality and the season, and talked to your partner about what colors are absolute yays and nays, it’s time to choose a color palette. Because colors evoke different emotions, it can help inform overall style and vibe. We associate blues with serenity, while reds evoke feelings of passion and love. A black and white color palette feels sophisticated and powerful, lending itself to classic, modern, or glamorous styles, while vibrant colors work well with vintage-inspired, Bohemian, and tropical styles.

At The Bridge Building, Susie and Connar's all white color palette combined with clean modern lines created an air of simple sophistication.

Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was three steps ahead of Pantone and chose a magenta color palette for her 2022 wedding. Hues of pink and red were paired with vintage furniture and striking florals, creating an overall romantic and retro vibe.

5. Consider your personal style

How would you describe your personal style? Minimalist, a little rock n’ roll, or country club chic? If fashion is an important part of how you express yourself and show your personality, think about incorporating the same elements into your wedding design.

Georgia and Chance’s October wedding was a true reflection of their personal style. Punk and goth, yet minimal.

Anna Caroline, style maven and owner of the boutique L.A. Green, incorporated fashion trends like silver metallics and 70s glam into her day. Likewise, Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was influenced by silver metallics and the trending color magenta.

6. Look at how you decorate your home

Get inspired by interior design. Our homes are often reflections of ourselves, so if you want your wedding to be uniquely you, take a look around you. How does the space feel? What colors do you use? Is your home more minimal and modern or vibrant and eclectic?

7. Consider your passions

Do you want to incorporate any shared passions into your decor? Maybe you have a shared love of gardening or you're passionate about your family heritage; these elements can influence your style.

Bridge Building bride Emmy loves Bonnaroo and has been to the music festival every year for the past decade. She brought the fun, festival vibe to life with vibrant florals, oriental rugs, vintage lounge furniture, disco balls, and more.

8. Find a muse

You should have a pretty good idea of what your wedding style is at this point, but if all else fails – find a muse. If you’ve seen a wedding you love on TV, in a movie, or in a magazine, that’s a good place to start. Royal weddings, like Meghan and Harry’s, are loaded with classic wedding inspiration. Mandy Moore’s is what boho wedding dreams are made of, and Audrey Hepburn’s is sure to spark ideas for any vintage enthusiast. Who's your muse?

At the end of the day, don’t feel like you have to fit in a box. Create harmony by combining different elements and styles to truly make your wedding your own.

IT'S GIVING WEDDING

OUR TOP 10 2023 TREND PREDICTIONS

Inspired by our latest real weddings and rising Pinterest searches, we wanted to dive a little deeper into some of the ongoing and new trends that will take off in 2023.

From the cutest bridal details to all things champagne, we bet you'll be seeing a lot more of these trends throughout the new year! It is crucial to incorporate fun and new ideas that give your wedding day a whole lotta personality.

Stay tuned every month for which wedding trends we're currently crushing on or for helpful event planning tips, and scroll on for Pinterest-worthy wedding trend inspiration from our real weddings!

1. Nostalgic Photography Styles

Like most wedding details, photography styles are influenced by trends! We can all remember the sepia filtered photos and the wave of photo framing with bouquets, right?

So what’s trending now? All natural, candid styles that make you feel the joy of the day. Don’t get us wrong, it’s good to have the perfectly placed wedding party photo and official family portraits, but there’s a new sense of freedom in today’s wedding photography that we can’t get enough of. Not to mention the resurgence of film photography and blurry editorial techniques that bring back a nostalgic feel.

So capturing the full essence of a wedding day exactly how everyone remembers is at the top of our list for wedding predictions in the new year.

2. Alternative Bridal Wear

Style is unique to every bride, and whether you’re a trendsetter, a little country club, or something in between, rest assured you’ll make the whole place shimmer. But there are definitely a few trends we can’t help but make note of!

In 2023, you can expect to see a lot more ball gowns, off-the-shoulder gowns with sleeves, and A-line dresses with high slits. It’s a tasteful touch and, depending on how the dress moves, it can create a new look. Not only will the cuts be different, but the lengths and material will be as well.

At Infinity, we love a dress change, and in 2023, reception dresses aren’t going anywhere! Brides will continue to rock mini dresses for the reception for that extra fun showstopper.

As far as accessories, trust us when we say it’s only the beginning for the return of a bridal glove! Full coverage, embroidered, fingerless, lace, above the elbow… you name it.  Custom embroidery will also be making a major impact, whether it’s on gloves, your dress, or a statement veil.

3. Mismatched Bridesmaids Dresses

Not only will the bride be stepping out in new trends but her best gals, too! Bridesmaids are taking the “mix-and-match” look to a whole new level with completely different colors, dress styles, and patterns.

It’s safe to say this will majorly break tradition, but we love to see it. Having your wedding party in something they feel comfortable and stylish in will have them feeling even more excited for your big day.

4. Captured Moments

We know we just listed a few ways photography styles are changing, but hear us out. What better way to capture the true feeling of your wedding day than by your closest friends and family?

Many couples have begun to include a Polaroid guest book for guests to snap a pic, write a sweet note, and place it in a book— and we think this is only the beginning. Polaroids will start to become replacements for table place cards and used in other creative ways.

And not only are Polaroids making a comeback, but disposable cameras as well. Couples have brought back the fun of placing disposable cameras on reception tables or around the wedding venue for guests to use as the night goes on.

5. Audio Guest Books

This trend is on fire, and we only expect it to keep burning!

Guest books have now turned into actual phone books. Having written messages by your loved ones will always be near and dear, but now you can have their recorded voices, too. Phone books and record players are a stylish way to forever capture a meaningful message with personality and a familiar tone that automatically saves for you to play it back whenever you desire.

6. Grand Floral Arrangements

The bigger the better with this trend! Arrangements at the altar, on the reception tables, held by the bride, or a part of a floating installation— whatever you do with your florals, make a statement.

Sarah and Joseph’s cascading florals along The Bridge Building beams paired with grand centerpieces for the tables created an eye-catching design throughout their wedding reception. For more floral design trends like this, check out our blog on unique florals to get inspired.

7. Fun Foods

In 2023, we predict you’ll see a lot more take-out and personalized foods. The food trends are always evolving because it’s one of the most talked about details from any event.

Whether it’s on a whim or planned ahead of time, ordering a late night pizza from your favorite local spot, Jimmy John's sandwiches or the whole McDonald’s menu, having a fun snack after a night of drinks and dancing will be top notch.

And if you want to get creative with your served items, consider a build-your-own station for popcorn, pretzels, ice cream, s'mores— whatever suits your taste.

8. Extra Entertainment

We don’t just mean extra as in additional, no, we mean extra as in extravagant! Weddings are about having fun with your loved ones, so go all out on what fits your personality.

Sarah and Patrick hired a live painter that was visible to guests to paint their first dance at The Bell Tower. Not only will this be a lasting memory captured by a talented artist for the couple, but guests got to enjoy seeing the process as well.

For more examples of this trend, check out our previous blog on unique vendors!

9. Color

Classic weddings with black and white color palettes will be huge in 2023, but so will some color!

First things first: Rust. Based on millions of Pinterest searches, hues of burnt orange, copper, terracotta, and rust will be everywhere. We love seeing our couples use a variety of colors like Anna Caroline did with her bridesmaids dresses to add texture and dimension.

Next up, from fashion to interior design and weddings, think pink! With Barbiecore on the rise, we weren’t surprised when Pantone announced magenta as their color of the year. Varying shades of pink will be used throughout next year's events, including lounge furniture, florals, bridesmaids dresses, taper candles, and more.

10. Get Comfy

Last but not least, we’re getting real comfortable in 2023 — in style, of course. More and more couples are incorporating lounge areas into their wedding ceremony and reception!

Mixed seating for your VIPs is a fun way to incorporate sofas or loveseats into your ceremony. Add them around the dance floor for those guests that just want to sit back and enjoy or anyone who needs to get off their dancing feet. And you can never go wrong with placing them near a bar for a relaxing spot to mingle during the cocktail hour.

WEDDING TRADITIONS

Something Old Something New Something Borrowed and Something Blue

For centuries, brides and grooms alike have included age-old traditions into their wedding day, and we love diving a little deeper into some of the most popular wedding traditions. This month, we’re looking into the history of having something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue on your wedding day.

We’ve explored the history of the bridal bouquet and the flower girl, but what was the meaning behind these four “lucky” items? Let’s find out!

Where it All Began

The tradition comes from an Old English rhyme that originated in 19th century England. The rhyme describes the items a bride should wear on her wedding day for good luck. The earliest recorded reference is in the 1871 short story “Marriage Superstitions, and the Miseries of a Bride Elect” in St James’ Magazine

It reads: “On the wedding day I must wear something; new, something; borrowed, something; blue.”

The next recorded version was in an 1876 edition of the Staffordshire Advertiser. It reported a bride “wore, according to ancient custom, something old and something new, something borrowed and blue.”

It later became “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a sixpence in your shoe.”

However, “a sixpence in your shoe” is often dropped today because this British sterling coin is no longer produced. But if you’re into the meaning of prosperity linked to it, I’m sure you could hunt one down!

Meaning Behind It

So now that we know where the saying originated, but what does it all mean?

As with many wedding traditions, like the flower girl and their bouquets of herbs, the items were originally worn to promote fertility and ward off evil. According to William Crooke’s “The Wooing of Penelope” published in an 1898 volume of Folk-lore, “something old” and “something blue” were worn to confuse the evil eye and prevent the bride from being cursed and barren. Similarly, “something borrowed” was supposed to be an undergarment from a woman who had already been blessed with children to encourage fertility.

Over the centuries the meaning behind the rhyme has evolved. “Something old” is a representation of ties to the past, and “something new” is for a hopeful future. It is also thought “something borrowed” should come from a happily married friend or relative to bring good luck for the union. And “something blue” is to, of course, ward off evil, but the color blue also serves as a symbol of purity, calmness, and commitment.

Traditionally, all items are to be given by family and friends of the bride and groom so that each item is given with love and pure intentions. However, “something new” can be given by the groom!

How to Incorporate the Tradition

Looking for ways to incorporate this tradition into your own wedding? We’ve got you.

If you’re looking for something old, there are a variety of options, so get creative with this throwback piece. You can do anything from wearing a piece of vintage jewelry, incorporating old fabrics into your dress, wearing your grandmother's original dress like Jenny, or paying tribute to a loved one by placing an old photo in your bouquet.

As for something new, this one is easy! You can justify your dress, florals, rings, or any new item holding importance on your wedding day as your “something new,” but this could also be the wedding gift from your groom or bridal party like a bracelet, your shoes, or even a handkerchief.

Your “something borrowed” usually correlates to your “old” item but ranges anywhere from your friend's wedding veil, a piece of jewelry from your mom or grandmother, a first dance song (in theory), or even a cake topper!

Now for “something blue,” this is where you can add your preferred personal touch. If you want this item to walk the aisle with you, consider jewelry, florals, shoes, or ribbons on your bouquet. But you could also consider a clutch, a getting ready robe, slippers, your bridesmaids dresses, wedding decor, blue embroidery... you name it.

Most of these items can even be combined! For example, borrowing a blue garter from an older relative or receiving an antique blue topaz ring from your groom. The list could go on but we’ll leave room for your imagination!

ALL SIGNS POINT HERE

OUR FAVORITE EVENT SIGNAGE IDEAS

Inspired by the latest wedding trends, we are currently crushing wedding signage! No matter your style or wedding design, signs can both be functional aspects of your big day, giving guests information and directions, as well as become part of your decor.

From welcome signs to seating charts, projected to printed, big to small, you will more than likely incorporate some form of signage into your special day. So we’ve carefully curated a few of our favorite ideas from real weddings with us!

Pro tip: As you’re scrolling for some inspo, keep your color palette and design style in mind. We recommend creating a cohesive look with the majority of your signs (matching your welcome sign to your seating chart and table numbers, for example) with one or two pops of fun, like a neon sign with your photobooth backdrop or marquee letters to serve as reception decor. Cohesive signage helps create clear communication while furthering the overall aesthetic of your day.

Take a look below at all the custom signage ideas, and don’t forget to save your favorites!

1. LED

Although this list is in no particular order, neon LED signs take the cake at any event in 2022, and we don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. From sweet sayings to custom initials, neon signs give a personalized touch to any event and make for a perfect photo op!

Bri and Joshua had a lounge area of velvet seating and a vintage rattan divider to hold their LED sign saying “Stand By Me,” and we’re still in love.

2. Acrylic

Acrylic signs are made from a cast polymer that is colorless, transparent, and durable, so it’s a perfect modern substitute for traditional glass at your event.

From welcome signs to table numbers, this lucite detail creates a trendy yet utterly classic look. Susie and Connar went with a painted white background and gold calligraphy by White Ink Calligraphy to help showcase their seating chart.

A printed sign can be simple but oh-so-chic and customizable to your desires! With the ability to choose different colors, fonts, and backgrounds, it’s a great option to stay on trend with your wedding style and work your color palette into every aspect of your big day.

Megan and Bravein incorporated their pets with a printed signature cocktail menu set on their reception bar for guests to not only make the right selection but also enjoy the furry friends not in attendance.

4. Mirror

Here’s to hoping this trend never runs out of style! We love the modern touch that these reflective signs give by opening the space and enhancing your design, no matter if your event is minimalist or all glam.  (Not to mention it’s a great way to check on your party look throughout the night!)

Kelsie and James chose mirror signage throughout their wedding, from a framed seating chart to small circular table numbers.

5. Marquee

We’ve seen marquee signs increase in popularity over the years, and we’re not mad about it! Why not have your location in lights? Or, better yet, your name? These big, bright letters are a fun way to add a touch of personalization to your big day and create a focal point during your reception.

Nashville Lighting and Production’s beloved Nashville marquee sign is the perfect detail to add to your local or destination wedding.

6. GOBO

If you really want that over-the-top look, consider a custom gobo for your big day! A gobo is essentially a stencil that can project light onto a larger surface in any design you want. You can project your names, monogram, initials, silhouette photos— you name it!—on the wall, floor, or something outdoors at your venue.

Meg and Tommy created a wedding logo to project on the walls of The Bell Tower for their wedding reception, and we think it was the perfect touch to their day.

7. Wood

Wooden wedding signs are a classic way to bring in a rustic and earthy style. They are perfect for events with a garden theme, Southern flare, or natural aesthetic.

White Ink Calligraphy created a custom wood seating chart for Tammy and Jeff's garden-inspired wedding that complemented the wood table numbers. While Hannah and Taylor's custom wood sign served as the perfect photo booth backdrop.

A Q&A WITH KELLY VICK

SALES SPECIALIST WITH ECD

Kelly, originally from New England, grew up in south Florida before moving to Nashville 8 years ago! “I was working for a Nashville-based financial tech company and spending a week or so here every month, but the food, music, and energy of the city all drew me in, and I moved here full time in fall of 2014,” she explained.

Kelly returned to the events industry 6 years ago. She grew up around catering and private events with her mother, who worked for Martha Stewart when she was young. Her mom always jokes that she started training Kelly for the event industry from day one!

“Growing up, my sisters and I spent many late nights in the kitchen with my mom before events, and as a teenager I started working in restaurants and with catering companies,” Kelly told us. “Before working with Infinity, I was handling private events for a Nashville-based restaurant group for several years.”

In her free time, Kelly Ioves being creative; home decor projects and collage art are two of her favorite artistic outlets. She started taking figure skating lessons a few years ago and is still trying to convince her husband it would be fun to start a pairs team! How long have you been with Infinity and the Estate at Cherokee Dock?

I have been with Infinity since the beginning of 2022 and am finishing my first year at The Estate at Cherokee Dock.

How did you get into sales?

I was offered my first opportunity in sales after approaching an executive in my former company with a list of reasons he should participate in a blood drive I was organizing. He asked if I had ever considered a career in sales and whether I liked to travel. The next five years saw me in and out of airports across the country, and I have been in sales ever since!

What is one of your favorite events the Estate at Cherokee Dock has done?

My favorite event at Cherokee Dock is probably the first couple that I booked [there]! Watching the details we discussed during our first meeting go from just an idea to real life was incredibly special, and I cherished Michael and Meredith's happy smiles on wedding day.

The most memorable details I've seen would be a tie between acrobats and synchronized swimmers as cocktail hour entertainment. Both definitely got the guests (and the staff) talking!

Do you have any advice for clients who are shopping for a venue?

My advice for clients who are shopping for a venue is that the most important thing about your wedding day is the moment you walk out of your venue as a married couple and begin your lives together! Beyond that, knowing what key details are most important to you (having your pets involved, lots of room for a big guest list, great music, beautiful scenery, etc.) and sharing those with your venue/planner will help make sure it is the right fit and give you the confidence to say “I do” to a venue.

What's one of the most commonly asked questions?

One question I get asked all the time is "what will the weather be like?" I can't predict it, but I've gotten pretty familiar with the average highs and lows and precipitation throughout the year. Cherokee Dock offers multiple event spaces, indoors and outdoors, so I help my couples understand how we would use the spaces year-round and in any type of weather!

What's one of the weirdest questions you've been asked on a venue tour?

One of the most unusual questions I've received is probably "can we do our wedding exit on jet skis?" The answer was yes!

What’s your favorite part about your job and why?

My favorite part of my job is that I get to meet couples at such a happy time in their lives and be a part of the exciting moment when they decide when and where they will say "I do!" Creatively, seeing our venues transformed week after week for each of our couples brings me so much joy and inspiration. I never get tired of watching florists work their magic.

What's the most challenging part of your job and how do you overcome it?

The most challenging part of my job is when I have multiple couples interested in the same date! I hate for anyone to be disappointed, so try to understand early on how much flexibility they have with their date and do everything I can to help them make their decision before anyone else snaps up their date.

How to Have a Bridgerton-Inspired Wedding https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/how-to-have-a-bridgerton-inspired-wedding/ Tue, 19 Jul 2022 02:00:05 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=31398 Dear reader, here are six ways to create a Bridgerton-inspired wedding, from the florals to the your fashion.

DEAREST GENTLE READER

How to Have a Bridgerton-Inspired Wedding

The social season is upon us, and after the major success of the latest Netflix series, Bridgerton, the Regency era is catching many newly-engaged eyes. From florals to fashion, embrace the elegance and romance of this most exquisite trending style that will take you back to the 1800s.

Don’t stop at a string quartet and crystal chandeliers when there’s so much more to it. A Bridgerton-inspired wedding is all about regal romance, lavish details, and timeless sophistication.

Read on, gentle reader, as we spill the tea for the must-have Bridergton wedding details. Here’s how to plan your own regency-inspired celebration fit for a Duke and Duchess.

1.SET THE SCENE

First things first, select a venue that exudes the grandeur of the Regency era. Think stately homes, historic mansions, or ornate ballrooms with towering ceilings and intricate architecture. Gardens adorned with lush florals and fountains can also provide the perfect backdrop for your Bridgerton-inspired affair. The Estate at Cherokee Dock would be the perfect spot.

2.EMBRACE REGAL FLORALS

One must simply possess only the fullest and brightest of florals for their extravagant wedding day. Flowers are a crucial element of any Bridgerton-inspired wedding. Opt for lush arrangements of garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas, and cascading greenery in soft pastel shades such as blush pink, lavender, and ivory. Go all white like Daphne and Simon, or play with the soft pastels and pops of Regency blue or yellow like Penelope’s usual attire.

3.LET THEM EAT CAKE

A cake for royalty would consist of multiple tiers covered in textured white icing and extravagant floral details. To take it an extra step further, think vintage-inspired piping, fluffy frosting borders, gold leaf, and sugar petals on your multi-tiered confection.

And don’t forget the necessity of a feasting table complete with miniature desserts like French macarons to complete the Bridgerton tea party aesthetic.

4.DRESS THE PART

If you want to be the diamond of the season, then you must take on the utmost sophistication and elegant style.

The empire waist silhouette grew in popularity at the end of the 18th century and can be seen all over the ladies of Bridgerton. However, if this does not suit your bridal style, you can still achieve the look with puff sleeves and classic pointed toe flats.  Don’t forget the delicate gloves to complete the look.

Talor looked exquisite with her full updo, silk gloves and a refined bow to top off her polished Bridgerton bridal style.

Grooms can embrace the dashing charm of the Duke of Hastings with a tailored suit in a rich hue, paired with a crisp white shirt, waistcoat, and perhaps a pocket watch for added flair.

5.THE FINER DETAILS

Attention to detail is key when planning a Bridgerton-inspired wedding. Think ornate candelabras adorned with dripping candles, vintage-inspired tableware, and delicate lace linens.

Brass candlesticks are one of the best ways to bring in those Regency era vibes as they were the most commonly used candle holders during that time, and pairing them with simple glass hurricane vases and votives creates a stunning tablescape.

Incorporate nods to the Regency era with calligraphy and wax seals on invitations and signage. Deysi and Michael’s gold-framed mirror welcomed guests into their wedding day with handwritten lettering by White Ink Calligraphy, similar to Susie and Connar’s escort cards on individual bud vases.

6.TOAST TO THE HAPPY COUPLE

Is there anything more lavish and decadent than champagne? We don’t think so. Dainty crystal glassware full of rich bubbly will make for a night of dramatic toasts worthy of Lady Whistledown.

Emily and Tyler took it a step further with their boxwood champagne wall lined with flutes for their trend-setting spring wedding day.

A Bridgerton-inspired wedding is a celebration of love, romance, and timeless elegance. By incorporating these elements into your special day, you can create an affair that transports you and your guests to the enchanting world of Regency-era London. So, embrace the romance, indulge in the opulence, and prepare for a wedding day that is truly fit for royalty.

A Q&A WITH MICHELLE BEBEAU

EVENT COORDINATOR WITH IH

Michelle was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, but grew up and attended grade school in Central Wisconsin. She recently moved to Nashville in July 2021 and is so excited to be back in Tennessee!

She attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point where she earned a degree in arts management. Before joining Infinity Hospitality, she was the Associate Director for a performing arts center that had her wearing many hats! One was managing all donor relations and planning large-scale fundraising galas and receptions. After a few years, she realized how much she enjoyed everything that goes into creating events.

Michelle has always had a passion for planning and believes Nashville is a great place to truly dive into the hospitality industry. And we might be biased, but we can’t disagree!

In her spare time, she enjoys baking, cooking, and finding adventures with her husband and dog. Read more about Michelle and her experience as an event coordinator below!

How long have you been a planner?

I started with Infinity Hospitality in September of 2021 and this is my first step into the hospitality and planning world.

Where do you draw inspiration from?

I like to draw inspiration from places like Pinterest and Instagram. There is so much wedding content out there that it can be overwhelming sometimes. When I am searching for ideas for wedding design boards, I like to not only search for "wedding"specific images, but images of any kind of party or event. Those can showcase other ideas you may not have thought would work!

How do you stay on top of everything? Any organizational tips or tricks?

I like to make to-do lists and find it is a great tool to keep me focused on what I can accomplish that day.

What themes or unique details have been your favorite from one of your events?

I love flowers and any wedding where there are lots of bright, beautiful blooms— just makes me so happy! I love when clients want to incorporate hanging floral or greenery elements into the space.

If you could give one piece of advice to couples planning a wedding what would it be?

My biggest piece of advice is to forget about all the traditions you think you need to have at your wedding. One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is seeing a couple do something non-traditional or out-of-the-box that is uniquely them. At my own wedding, we cut the cake with a sword because "why not?"

What are some of the challenges you face when planning an event and how do you overcome them?

I would say when a lot of different voices get involved in the planning process it can be easy to get off track or away from the original vision of the event we are trying to create. As your planner, we try our best to always focus our meetings and conversations to ultimately bring the vision to life.

What is one of your favorite memories from one of your events?

One of the couples I got to work with originally was planning a very traditional wedding with a ceremony and a sit down dinner. During the planning process they quickly realized they wanted to have a much more casual party with their friends. We worked together with them to switch everything up and fill the room with more lounge seating, a fun DJ and stations of different bite-size foods. They decided not to tell their guests that they were still going to get married, and once everyone arrived they came out and had a surprise ceremony in the middle of the party! It was such a fun day to be a part of and I was so happy we could work together to create the event they truly wanted.

What’s your favorite part about your job?

When it comes to weddings, it is honestly such an honor to be part of one of the biggest days of someone's life. I remember how special my wedding day was and how grateful I was to all the people that were part of that day to help us. To be on the other side of that now is so wonderful!
