Deysi and Michael celebrated their love with an enchanting garden wedding at the Estate at Cherokee Dock. With its picturesque landscapes, grand mansion, and lush gardens, the Estate provided the perfect backdrop for their magical day.

Deysi, originally from Brazil, and Michael, from New Jersey, first met at work when Deysi moved to New Jersey. Starting off as just friends, Michael showed Deysi the ropes when she made the big move. Their love grew slowly but surely, and after another move to Nashville, these two were ready to tie the knot.

With most of their guests coming from out of town, and many from Brazil, they wanted to make sure it was a smooth and enjoyable experience for all. It was important that the food, drinks, and atmosphere were top tier— and with us, that’s a promise! The Estate was the perfect backdrop for their guests to celebrate with its breathtaking views of Old Hickory Lake and sprawling lawns. A truly memorable and magical experience.

Deysi and Michael got ready with their own wedding parties in the mansion’s luxury bridal suite and nearby Stable Loft  before walking the aisle to say “I do” on the Lakeside Lawn. The lakeside ceremony was set with arrangements of vibrant blooms and lush greenery at the altar with a flower petal aisle.

Afterwards, guests sipped on glasses of frozé with a selection of passed apps during the outdoor cocktail hour in the Serenity Gardens, including Bloody Mary oysters, hot chicken biscuits, ahi tuna in a crispy wonton, arancini, polenta cakes with goat cheese, and Key West crab cakes. Lounge areas were also set to create a comfortable environment for guests to mingle with string lights for a fairytale ambiance.

For their reception inside the Lakeview Event Center, Deysi and Michael blew their guests away with the most stunning and enchanting indoor garden design. The room was draped in forest green velvet with strings of fairy lights across the whole ceiling, while tables were set with soft white linens and acrylic ghost chairs. Centerpieces included antique candelabras wrapped in greenery and full-size faux trees with floating glass bulbs, individually hung white flowers, tea lights, and touches of moss. It was like a fairy tale brought to life!

For dinner, we helped Deysi and Michael curate a culinary experience that embraced Nashville’s renowned food scene. The menu featured a fusion of Southern flavors and personal favorites with a selection of four entrees—lemon almondine trout, grilled lamb chop with a tomato demi-glace, chicken cordon bleu, and rigatoni primavera.

During the reception, live musicians played celebratory tunes to kick off the dance floor  and encourage loved ones to join the couple in the fun. And after a late night dessert display of French toast bread pudding, mini cheesecake bites, cake cutting, and more, Deysi and Michael ended their night with a jump in the pool!

Emily and Tyler celebrated their nuptials with a sunny rooftop ceremony and reception full of whimsical wisteria at The Bridge Building.

These University of Georgia graduates met through mutual college friends at a New Year’s Eve Widespread Panic concert at none other than the Bridgestone Arena here in Nashville!

To keep with their Music City love story, Tyler popped the question before a Nashville Predators hockey game in the same arena where they first met. And when choosing their wedding venue, they recognized the Bridge Building on their way to a Titans football game and knew it would be the perfect spot.

When the wedding day arrived, Emily was dressed in an off-the-shoulder mermaid gown with pearl details, a slicked back classic bun, traditional white heels, and she carried a bouquet of peach and lavender blooms. Emily and Tyler opted out of a wedding party so their special day could feel as intimate as possible.

As the sun was setting over the Nashville skyline in the background, Emily and Tyler tied the knot between floral arrangements of peach, white, and lavender surrounded by a joyful audience of family and friends on the rooftop.

Afterwards, guests made their way to the riverfront patio to enjoy a couple passed apps of bacon wrapped shrimp, fried mac and cheese bites, mini chicken and waffles, and pepper jelly pimento bruschetta while the main space got its final touch for the reception.

The Cumberland space at The Bridge Building looked bright and dreamy with crisp white linens, gold chiavari chairs, and pink silk napkins at each table with elegant elevated centerpieces of white hydrangeas and peach blooms. Individually hung wisteria vines in pink, peach, and lavender stole the show; they surrounded a grand Maria chandelier at the center of the room, creating the most whimsical feel against the industrial beams of the space, while a greenery boxwood wall of champagne welcomed the guests into the reception and added to the dreamy ambiance.

Once guests found their seats, a plated dinner service began followed by a traditional first dance to “They Love Each Other” by The Grateful Dead, a champagne toast, and the cutting of the cake. Emily had a quick outfit change into a sparkling cocktail-style dress with white western boots, and they danced the night away with their loved ones!

Unlocking Your Wedding Design Style: A Comprehensive Guide https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/how-to-find-your-wedding-design-style/ Fri, 17 Feb 2023 22:03:45 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=33106 Eight tips on how to find your wedding design style with inspiration from real weddings.

WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING STYLE?

8 TIPS WITH REAL WEDDING INSPIRATION

Maybe you’ve had a secret wedding Pinterest board for years and know exactly what you want, or maybe you’re overwhelmed by the millions of photos you’ve seen and don’t know where to start. No matter what boat you’re in, we’re here to help you find the perfect vibe to make your wedding day truly special. Read on for our tips on how to find your wedding style.

1. Chat with your partner

First things first, talk it through with your partner. Whether they’re giving you free reign or have their own Pinterest board, you’ll want to make sure you’re on the same page when it comes to what you both are envisioning for the day.

2. Choose a level of formality

Consider the overall vibe you’re looking for. Do you want your day to be more formal or a little bit casual? Formality will impact everything from food service to linens, to guest attire and everything in between. Nailing this down first will help you narrow down a style. Opting for black tie? Go glam. Keeping it casual? Rustic might be for you!

3. Consider the season

The season you choose to have your wedding can inform things like color palette, floral choices, linen textures, and more. Summer is a great time to incorporate tropical arrangements and vibrant colors, while fall and winter are perfect for luxe velvet linens and rich color palettes like rust orange, wine red, or emerald green.

Sarah and Joseph embraced spring by bringing the outside in with stunning hanging florals and pastel hues.

MODERN CLASSIC WINTER

4. Choose a color palette

Once you’ve nailed down formality and the season, and talked to your partner about what colors are absolute yays and nays, it’s time to choose a color palette. Because colors evoke different emotions, it can help inform overall style and vibe. We associate blues with serenity, while reds evoke feelings of passion and love. A black and white color palette feels sophisticated and powerful, lending itself to classic, modern, or glamorous styles, while vibrant colors work well with vintage-inspired, Bohemian, and tropical styles.

At The Bridge Building, Susie and Connar's all white color palette combined with clean modern lines created an air of simple sophistication.

Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was three steps ahead of Pantone and chose a magenta color palette for her 2022 wedding. Hues of pink and red were paired with vintage furniture and striking florals, creating an overall romantic and retro vibe.

5. Consider your personal style

How would you describe your personal style? Minimalist, a little rock n’ roll, or country club chic? If fashion is an important part of how you express yourself and show your personality, think about incorporating the same elements into your wedding design.

Georgia and Chance’s October wedding was a true reflection of their personal style. Punk and goth, yet minimal.

Anna Caroline, style maven and owner of the boutique L.A. Green, incorporated fashion trends like silver metallics and 70s glam into her day. Likewise, Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was influenced by silver metallics and the trending color magenta.

6. Look at how you decorate your home

Get inspired by interior design. Our homes are often reflections of ourselves, so if you want your wedding to be uniquely you, take a look around you. How does the space feel? What colors do you use? Is your home more minimal and modern or vibrant and eclectic?

7. Consider your passions

Do you want to incorporate any shared passions into your decor? Maybe you have a shared love of gardening or you're passionate about your family heritage; these elements can influence your style.

Bridge Building bride Emmy loves Bonnaroo and has been to the music festival every year for the past decade. She brought the fun, festival vibe to life with vibrant florals, oriental rugs, vintage lounge furniture, disco balls, and more.

8. Find a muse

You should have a pretty good idea of what your wedding style is at this point, but if all else fails – find a muse. If you’ve seen a wedding you love on TV, in a movie, or in a magazine, that’s a good place to start. Royal weddings, like Meghan and Harry’s, are loaded with classic wedding inspiration. Mandy Moore’s is what boho wedding dreams are made of, and Audrey Hepburn’s is sure to spark ideas for any vintage enthusiast. Who's your muse?

At the end of the day, don’t feel like you have to fit in a box. Create harmony by combining different elements and styles to truly make your wedding your own.

Amiyah and Kaleb had their floral-filled spring vow renewal ceremony and reception at The Bell Tower, complete with classic white decor and gorgeous greenery.

The couple met in 2018 through a friend's Instagram and Kaleb insisted on a date. Amiyah, being a true crime fanatic, had no interest in going on a date with some random guy. Kaleb, being the true gentleman he is, ended up taking out both Amiyah and her friend! He wined and dined them and even brought flowers. After the second date, just the two of them, they both knew… and the rest is history.

On their wedding day, Amiyah wore a stunning three-piece dress set that included a stretch bodysuit and skirt slip. The fit-and-flare gown featured an illusion lace overdress with beaded embroidery and a deep V-neckline, complete with a fitted skirt with panels of chiffon and a chapel train! She held a gorgeous cascading bouquet of white roses, eucalyptus, and greenery that beautifully matched the rest of her day. Kaleb looked dapper in his military uniform, while his groomsmen wore white shirts with coordinating ties that matched the bridesmaids' light pink dresses.

For the ceremony, the main space of The Bell Tower was set with soft string lighting, white flowers, greenery, and white petals lining the aisle with classic dark wood chiavari chairs, plus a striking gold ceremony arch decorated with more white blooms between the grand windows.

The vow renewal was full of fun and sweet personal moments, like when Amiyah was walked down the aisle by her grandmother and the wedding party danced their way to cocktail hour!

After the couple said their "I dos" again in front of family and friends, the main space was seamlessly flipped for their beautiful reception. The stunning gold floral arch remained the focal point of the room as the head table was set in front of it. Tables were set with white linens and white floral centerpieces with greenery that popped against the minimalist but classic design. The head table was also decorated with floating candles and garlands of greenery down the center.

Sarah and Joseph celebrated their nuptials with a dreamy rooftop ceremony and reception full of whimsical florals at The Bridge Building.

These Nashville natives officially met on the first day of their junior year of high school and, with the help of some mutual friends, they made it official over the holidays a few months later. Their first date was December 2, 2014, and they’ve been together ever since!

When it came time to pop the question, Joseph had a big surprise planned. During a trip to Maui, Hawaii, to visit Sarah’s family, he set up a “family” photoshoot and got down on one knee on December 21, 2021. To no one’s surprise, Sarah said “yes” and the wedding planning began!

It was important to Sarah and Joseph to have a fun wedding day celebrating with their friends and family. “We fell in love with The Bridge Building as soon as we saw it. It's actually the only venue we toured!” Sarah shared with us. “We are from Nashville and it's where we fell in love, but most of our guests were from out of town, so we knew we wanted our wedding to feel like a big Nashville party!”

When her wedding day arrived, Sarah was dressed in an A-line gown with a deep V neckline and beaded details, classic white heels, and an elegant updo with a jeweled side comb. Her best gals were in silky matching dresses in blush pink and held bright pastel bouquets.

Leading up to Joseph’s most memorable moment, which was their first kiss as Mr. and Mrs., this pair first locked eyes as Sarah walked down the aisle. They said their vows on the rooftop in a minimalist yet dreamy ceremony with bright pastel floral arrangements and a downtown view. Sarah and Joseph also held a unity ceremony where they boxed a bottle of wine along with letters from their parents and loved ones to be opened on their future anniversaries.

Afterwards, guests made their way to the riverfront to snack on passed appetizers of bacon wrapped dates, fried mac and cheese, pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, and tequila infused watermelon cubes while Infinity staff finished setting the Cumberland space for the reception.

The room looked bright and dreamy as it was set with classic white linens, colorful pastel florals hung individually from the industrial beams, and warm Edison bulb lighting. On the tables sat printed custom blue and white dinner menus, homemade lavender shortbread cookies topped with edible flowers, large whimsical centerpieces of roses and wisteria, and interactive table numbers so guests could leave sweet messages for the newlyweds.

Once guests found their seats, a plated dinner service began followed by a traditional first dance to "Forever Like That" by Ben Rector, toasts from loved ones, and the cutting of the cake. The couple also included an anniversary dance to honor all the married couples in attendance!

As the night came to an end, guests lined up under the bridge with the University of Alabama shakers in honor of the couple's alma mater while Sarah and Joseph shared a final secret dance on the rooftop.

Sarah and Patrick had a traditional wedding ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by a fun-filled reception at The Bell Tower

This sweet pair met in college at Vanderbilt University while working with an on-campus choir;Sarah sang and Patrick played the piano!

Patrick decided to pop the question in Centennial Park where they had their first date. He sang “Lover” by Sarah’s favorite artist, Taylor Swift. How cute!

Knowing they had a lot of out-of-town guests, they wanted a reception venue that truly felt like Nashville with that special “wow” factor. “We loved how open and bright The Bell Tower felt, as well as the old church windows, exposed beams, and brick. Patrick is a big bourbon drinker, so he also fell in love with the bourbon tasting room,” Sarah told us.

Their wedding day finally arrived on May 29. The day began with a traditional Catholic ceremony and a fun trolley ride into the city. Sarah wore a strapless gown by Olia Zavozina paired with a traditional bouquet of neutral blooms.

When guests arrived at The Bell Tower, they were met with pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, boneless marinated lamb chop, fried green tomatoes, coconut crusted shrimp, bacon wrapped sweet potatoes, and hot chicken biscuits.

In honor of Sarah’s major Taylor Swift fandom, she and Patrick danced to the song “Lover” and had a greenery wall photo booth setup with a custom LED sign of lyrics from the same song! Patrick also performed during the reception, singing barbershop music with a quartet!

Holly and Adam celebrated their marriage with a late spring wedding featuring romantic florals, soft pink details, and a stunning view of Nashville at The Bridge Building

These two first met at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and dated almost five years before Adam popped the question after a sweet dinner in their downtown condo!

When it was time to start planning their wedding, it was important that it felt like a big, stress-free party with an “overall awesome guest experience.” Safe to say that’s what they got!

On the big day, the couple shared a sweet first look under the pedestrian bridge before the ceremony. That didn’t stop Adam from shedding a tear as Holly walked down the aisle in her modern off-the-shoulder gown with her embroidered veil and classic white bouquet.

After Holly and Adam exchanged their vows, guests found their way to a cocktail hour to sip on chardonnay as the couple took more photos just before the sunset.

The Cumberland space was set with alternating floral arrangements and white candles at the center of each table with ivory and blush linens and antique driftwood chairs. The chic decor and romantic ambiance of glowing string lights really set the tone.

After a delicious plated dinner service, Holly and Adam kicked off a night full of fun and dancing with their first dance to “Your Song” by Elton John.

My team and I  love all the planners and staff at Infinity! We have been blessed to be a part of their vendor team! It's wonderful going to a venue on a regular basis!

4. Do you have a favorite flower?

This is a hard one. I love them all, but if I had to pick one it would be stock. It comes in all colors and the fluffy shade is great!

5. How would you describe your style or aesthetic?

Whimsical garden; however, we can do all styles from boho, garden, romantic, and traditional!

6. What’s your best kept secret when it comes to florals?

I know how to make a flower look like a peony when they aren't in season!

7. What’s your current favorite floral trend?

Color! I am loving all the different shades our clients have picked this year!

8. Any tips for couples?

  1. Be honest with your flower budget. This cuts a lot of back and forth and helps us guide you to your vision but with budget-friendly options in mind. Everyone has a budget. It may be $2,000 or $10,000 for florals, but there is a “I'm not spending any more” moment.
  2. Have a few photos picked out that you like the most to show your florist, [and] then give them the artistic ability to make your vision come to life.

Bethany and Greg celebrated their marriage with a traditional spring wedding with light blue details and a stunning view of Nashville at The Bridge Building.

These two met and started their relationship when a mutual friend set them up at a Titans tailgate. Years later, Greg surprised Bethany with a sweet proposal at the Ryman Auditorium in the same spot where they sat for their first date.

When it was time to start wedding planning, they both knew they wanted a downtown venue to showcase the city they “love so much,” and The Bridge Building was perfect!

On the day of the wedding, Bethany’s gals were dressed in light blue mix-and-match dresses and held bouquets of greenery and white blooms. Greg and his men also rocked the blue look in matching suits and white ties.

The rooftop was set with subtle string lights and white drapery for the ceremony, and one of Bethany’s bridesmaids took to the mic to perform a sweet melody.

After the exchange of vows, guests found their way to a cocktail hour featuring candied bacon and cabernet as the wedding party posed for some final photos.

At the reception, a buffet dinner was prepared by Infinity staff of Southern-style green beans, sour cream whipped potatoes, classic wedge salad, herb roasted pork loin, and lemon herb baked chicken.

As the party kicked off, Bethany and Greg shared a first dance to “Feet Don’t Touch The Ground” by Stoney Larue. “We both love Texas country and fell in love at many, many Stoney Larue shows over the years,” Bethany told us.

Their guests danced the night away before grabbing a personalized koozie and sending the newly-married couple on their way.
