Madeline and Jackson celebrated their marriage with a beautiful fall wedding day designed with a mix of modern elements, boho chic details, and classic style at The Bridge Building.

This sweet pair met when they were only 12 years old through their church. In January 2021, Jackson got down on one knee at the Gentry Farm and surprised Madeline with a sweet proposal and family to celebrate.

When it came to planning, the couple wanted to prioritize the intimacy of their ceremony and the fun of their reception. For them, the venue choice was easy. Madeline later told us, “We always knew we wanted The Bridge Building. We booked way ahead of time to ensure we could secure our date! We love the atmosphere there and the unbelievable view of the Nashville skyline.”

The soon-to-be newlyweds began their fall wedding day with a first look on the Cumberland River greenway. It was one of their most memorable moments from the day and completely calmed any wedding day jitters. Madeline was dressed in a high-neck gown with ruching, while Jackson was in a classic black tux.

For the ceremony, the Cumberland space was set with a hanging greenery installation with white pampas, pillar candles lining the aisle for a warm glow, striking pampas arrangements at the altar, and a beautiful nighttime city view.

After Madeline and Jackson said “I do,” guests enjoyed a few delectable appetizers including fried green tomatoes, hot chicken biscuits, Italian meatballs, and pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta on the riverfront patio while the Infinity staff flipped the space for the reception. Tables were set with greenery runners, mauve cheesecloth gauze, lavender sprigs, and a mix of modern gold centerpieces filled with a mix of candles and white florals.

When guests found their seats, they enjoyed a stationed dinner prepared by the in-house chef of BYO sliders, gourmet mac and cheese, smoked gouda bowtie pasta, white cheddar with penne pasta, and a mashed potato station. Afterwards, Madeline and Jackson shared a first dance to “Best Part of Me” by Ed Sheran.

The night continued with a party on the dance floor and guests cheered on the newlyweds with their alumni school flags and wedding bells.

After saying “I do” at the Cathedral of the Incarnation, Bri and Joshua had a classic yet modern wedding reception full of boho, vintage vibes at The Bell Tower.

These two met in 2014 while working at the same law firm, quickly became great friends, and started dating in the fall of 2016.

Joshua later proposed to Bri on a rainy night on their home's rooftop. The rain stopped just long enough for him to ask the question, and once Bri said yes, it started pouring. She said it was very “Notebook-y.” It also turns out Joshua had planned three prior proposals at restaurants, and Bri had somehow ruined the plan each time! In the end, the rooftop proposal was perfect and very meaningful since they also shared their first date and first kiss on a rooftop.

For their wedding day, Joshua wore a classic navy suit with a bowtie and white boutonniere, while Bri wore three different outfits throughout the day! Her first dress was very classic for her church ceremony, a gorgeous off-the-shoulder gown with a full skirt and pockets. And as a personalized detail, she used lace from her mother’s wedding gown in her veil and wore Joshua’s late grandmother’s necklace for the ceremony. Her second look was modern, sleek, and stylish—a high-neck halter gown. The final look of the night was a jumpsuit with a lace bodice and attached cape that was very boho and fun! All three looks tied into Bri’s classic, modern, and vintage-inspired design.

When we asked Bri what style she envisioned for their big day, she said, “romantic, classic, natural, feeling connected to my friends and family, and creating a warm, welcoming space for us to spend time together.” We think their day turned out to be exactly that!

The reception at The Bell Tower was classic and stunning with beautiful string lighting, white linens, gold flatware, and a single sprig of greenery at each place setting. Centerpieces varied throughout the tables, some with arrangements of greenery and white blooms and others with a collection of romantic white candles. Bri and Joshua also incorporated some modern elements with their black and white signage, custom LED neon sign that read “stand by me,” and sleek gold frames with custom thank you notes at each table.

The Bell Tower’s covered patio was decorated with bamboo pendants and string lights, which created an amazing boho and vintage-inspired ambiance for guests to enjoy the evening. There were also several lounge areas set up around the space with vintage velvet furniture, traditional area rugs, rattan wicker chairs, and brass detailed tables that really enhanced the vintage feel.

Bri and Joshua’s first dance was a beautiful moment. The couple danced to a cover of “Stand by Me” by Florence + The Machine. Bri said, “It happened to play while I was on my way to work one day 3 years ago,” and she knew immediately it was perfect. “Its lyrics and string backing had me crying on the Metro.”

As the couple left at the end of the night, friends and family waved silver streamers and cheered for the newlyweds!

On the Fourth of July in 2020, Courtney and Ryan had a traditional summer wedding filled with champagne accents, neutrals, lots of greenery, and so many sweet moments.

The happy couple first met through some mutual friends during their freshman year at the University of Tennessee. They believe that fate would have brought them together one way or another during their college years, but they’re thankful they were able to “grow up” and enjoy all of their time in undergrad together.

Among the many special outings the pair shared, their Christmas date right before they went to see their families was always the most special. On December 21st of 2018, Ryan and Courtney dressed up and headed to the Opryland for a romantic night of lights and laughter. After dinner and a horse-drawn carriage ride, Ryan got down on one knee and popped the question!

When it came to finding the perfect venue, Courtney and Ryan had a very specific wishlist. “When we walked into the Bell Tower, our eyes lit up, and we both knew The Bell Tower checked all the boxes. It's walking distance to Broadway, a beautiful and intimate venue, PLUS a historic renovated 1800's church, so it still allowed for the traditional feel: It was perfect,” Courtney told us.

On the big day, Courtney was dressed in a sleek fitted gown with a long appliqué flower petal veil and held a bouquet of white flowers and delicate eucalyptus. Her bridesmaids were dressed in contemporary off-shoulder, champagne dresses.

Ryan and his groomsmen sported sleek black suits with matching silk ties, and they were all looking sharp!

Being surrounded by their loved ones and embracing wedding traditions were the most important things for the couple. When it was time for the ceremony, Courtney’s dad walked her down the aisle after she gave him a sweet note.

As the couple tied the knot in front of a geometric wooden arch decorated with romantic floral arrangements, they shared their own personalized vows and participated in a unity candle lighting that both their parents also included in their weddings.

Afterward, guests headed out to the patio to enjoy a cocktail hour and sip a few fine wines while the Infinity staff transformed the main space with glowing string lights, warm neutral linens, and mirrored candlelit centerpieces.

The wedding guests sat down for a plated dinner of maple mustard glazed chicken or herb-roasted pork loin with sauteed seasonal vegetables and four-cheese macaroni. After everyone filled their bellies and enjoyed the traditional first dances, the Emerald Empire Band got everyone out on the dance floor to celebrate with the newly married couple.

At the end of the night, it was time for a bouquet and garter toss before the newlyweds made their way to the getaway car through a line of sparklers that were perfect for celebrating this Fourth of July wedding.

Allie and Ben's whimsical fall wedding at The Bridge Building was nothing short of a romantic autumn dream.

With a high school beginning, a birthday proposal in a charming Texas cabin and an amazing couple, we could hardly wait to get their wedding started!

Allie and Ben's wedding day began with a sweet first look. To the couple, it was most important that their guests had a fun time and truly enjoyed a Nashville experience.

Their candlelit ceremony was held at sunset on The Bridge Building rooftop with a whimsical arch of greenery by Echoes of Eden Florals at the altar. Afterward, guests took to the riverfront for cocktail hour and enjoyed a libation or two before heading inside for dinner.

For the reception, the main space was set with white and beige linens, string lights and centerpieces of ivory florals and greenery. Dinner stations opened later in the evening, complete with a trio of salads, build your own BBQ sliders, a chicken and waffles station, and a mashed potato station.

Before the day was complete with an epic sparkler exit on the riverfront, Allie and Ben shared their most memorable moment of the day, a private last dance on the rooftop.

An elegant rustic wedding day and night so memorable, Margot and Josh wish they could do it all over again.

The day began with a beautiful ceremony at the Christ Church Cathedral, followed by a natural reception at The Bell Tower.

When picking the reception venue, Margot told us, "We knew we wanted to do something unique and downtown. We really loved the aesthetics and layout The Bell Tower had to offer. With the outdoor, air-conditioned patio, the upstairs balcony, the Tasting Room, and open main room, we knew it was the perfect place for our reception."

So, how did these two meet?

Almost 7 years ago at Vanderbilt University, Margot's mom pointed out a "cute boy on the basketball team" that just so happened to have the same last name! Margot eventually introduced herself to Josh, revealing the similarity of their last name, followed by, "My mom thinks we should get married.” Ha!

Following a surprise proposal on the pedestrian bridge and a celebratory lunch with family, we must say, mom knew best!

Jumping back into the wedding details, we couldn't help but notice the sweetest personal touches Margot incorporated into their big day. She had a wrap designed for her bouquet made from her grandmother's wedding dress, her mom's wedding dress, and a handkerchief from her baptism. A red cardinal in honor of her late brother was pinned to the bottom.

"My brother, Thomas, passed away last year," Margot told us. "Whenever my family sees a red cardinal, we think it’s his way of saying hi."

In order to pull off this rustic wedding reception worth swooning over, we had some help from our friendors Forget Me Not Designs, Nashville Lighting & Production, Dear Addie Stationery, and Music City Tents.

Once guests arrived, cocktail hour began on the patio. A lucite bar menu conveyed the drink options while candied bacon made its rounds.

Inside the main space, ivory and wood farm tables with elegant rustic arrangements of greenery set the tone for the evening. After guests found their seats, they enjoyed a delectable plated dinner. Including maple-glazed chicken, asparagus and white cheddar mashed potatoes or bourbon-glazed salmon, roasted brussel sprouts and parmesan risotto.

Afterward, Margot and Josh took a twirl around the dance floor to "Beyond," by Leon Bridges, for the first time as husband and wife.

In lieu of wedding favors, it meant more to Margot and Josh to donate to the Herren Project on their guests' behalf. "This organization helps individuals and families who are impacted by substance abuse disorder," Margot explained to us.

At the end of the night, this charming couple headed through a tunnel of sparklers and straight to Broadway to keep the party going.

The post HANNAH + HAYDEN’S NEUTRAL SOUTHERN WEDDING appeared first on Infinity Hospitality.

It's safe to say we're seeing stars over Hannah and Hayden's stylish, neutral southern wedding.

This sweet couple is currently in medical school in Johnson City, Tenn., and met there too. After being in the same friend group for years, they took the next step and started dating.

Later, Hayden decided to make it official. "Hayden proposed with the mountains as a backdrop on my birthday with big balloons spelling out “marry me” in one of our favorite spots," Hannah told us. Swoon!

The next order of business was finding the perfect place to tie the knot, and they quickly decided on Nashville as it was central for everyone.

"I’m from middle Tennessee, Hayden's from west Tennessee, and we're in school in east Tennessee," Hannah told us. "I wanted a beautiful church for the ceremony and something fun and more 'Nashville' for the reception." Their wish was our command!

Starting at Scarritt Bennett, the girls got ready in matching pajama sets with mimosas in hand. The couple wrote letters to each other before their first look and took a moment for themselves before they tied the knot.

"Having a few moments alone with Hayden after our first look knowing we were about to become husband and wife was the most memorable moment of the day," Hannah said.

Following their traditional ceremony, everyone made their way to The Bridge Building for a fun-filled cocktail reception.

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with passed wine while local brews were up for grabs behind the bar. They noshed on a variety of delectable selections including pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, mini tomato bisque shooters and grilled cheese sandwiches, prosciutto-wrapped asparagus, beef and vegetable kabobs, hot chicken sliders, and coconut-crusted shrimp. We'll take one of each, please!

Since it's not always just about the bride, Hayden was in charge of the music. For the first dance, he chose "Speechless" by Dan and Shay. It was so sweet watching them twirl in the heart of the space!

To wrap up, the couple grinned and fist-pumped their way through a tunnel of sparklers and smiles under the Pedestrian Bridge.

THE BELL TOWER

A SLICE OF HISTORICAL HEAVEN
Historical Photo of The Bell Tower

Amidst bustling downtown Nashville, The Bell Tower sits pretty and proudly on the corner of 4th Avenue South and Korean Veterans Boulevard.

Built in 1874, The Bell Tower was one of the first churches built by freed slaves after the Civil War.

Following the abolition of slavery, many Americans reveled in newfound freedom; and this resulted in a massive missionary effort in the south.

Consequently, this effort financed new churches and schools, and new denominations were created. Including the African Methodist Episcopal (A.M.E).

In what is now SoBro and the home of The Bell Tower, was once called Black Bottom. The 5-block radius got its name from the black mud and flooding of filthy water caused in part by the Cumberland River and in part by Wilson Spring Branch, a creek that was later bricked over as a sewer.

Most of the surrounding neighborhood was destroyed after World War II, and we're proud to say that The Bell Tower is one of the last original structures of Black Bottom still standing in downtown Nashville.

On June 17, 1874, construction began on a brand new Saint Paul A.M.E. Church at the corner of what was then Cherry Street and Franklin Street.

At 3 p.m., around 1500 people gathered to witness the laying of the cornerstone. Many traveled from Murfreesboro and Shelbyville just to partake in the celebration.

A marching band joyfully marched from Cedar Street through Summer to Demonbreun and back again.

Hymns could be heard coming from the ceremonial service, and a prayer was held in the adjoining building where the church was to be built.

Nashville Union and American Newspaper Clipping

A few decades and more than a few new faces later, here we are!

The Bell Tower has since been transformed into a breathtaking, contemporary event venue for just about any kind of social gathering or celebration.

Formerly home to EOA Architects, the space is now full of natural southern light with a spacious open floor plan allowing for a multitude of possibilities.

The original exposed beams and downstairs stonework still remain, thus keeping the character and historic charm of the venue still intact. We even kept the original sub-flooring, which contains salvaged wood from homes destroyed during the war.

Meanwhile, a towering staircase leads to a spacious mezzanine. This bonus space is perfect for another bar or extra seating with a perfect bird's eye view of the happenings below.

Our awesome production squad is ready and able to set the tone of any event with all the latest gadgets and completely customizable lighting options. Some of our favorites include paper lanterns, string lights, a custom floral ring and our stunning collection of chandeliers.

So, envisioning cocktail hour on an air-conditioned patio in the middle of July? Done, and done. Maybe a personalized gobo to represent your brand? No sweat, we can project any monogram, logo or design onto the walls or even the floor! And the options don't stop there.

The Bell Tower Floor Plan

Pro tip: The mezzanine is the best spot in the house for photographers to perfectly capture first dances, speeches and other memorable moments from above!

And for bonus points? The Tasting Room is located within the actual bell tower and is available for hourly rental.

Impeccably designed, bottles line the walls and striking modern chandeliers hang from above. Guests are invited to sample local favorites and lesser-known distillery spirits from a selection of over 100 hand-picked bourbons, whiskey and scotch. Because when in Nashville, do as the Honky Tonkers do! That's the saying, right?

Above all, we love seeing our innovative clients and talented staff work together to create unforgettable experiences and endless memories at The Bell Tower.

From intimate rehearsal dinners to romantic weddings, to music showcases and not-so-average corporate events, no event is left behind. And we can't wait to see more of what the future holds!

For their spring wedding, Allison and Graham were inspired by The Bell Tower and its architectural beauty. They envisioned a natural, minimalistic vibe with good food, good music and a great bar. They were super easy-going when it came to design and prioritized enhancing the venues historic features and ensuring a stress-free day. We were thrilled to help carry out their vision, and we loved how everything came together.

Airy, loose-style florals by Forget Me Not Designs added an ultra-romantic element to the traditional framework of the venue. The couple was thrilled that it wasn't necessary to add much!

After the sweetest first look in Centennial Park, Allison and Graham made their way to The Bell Tower for an intimate ceremony beneath the beams. A floral ring adorned with peach roses was suspended above the altar.

When Allison made her entrance, she walked in and stopped at the end of the aisle. Graham then walked back down to meet her there. As almost-newlyweds, they walked down the aisle together side by side. It was such a special moment that really stuck with me.

As guests took their seats, spinach and strawberry salads (an Infinity spring and summertime favorite) were waiting. For dinner, guests made their way to the buffet. Selections included truffle cheddar-crusted brussels sprouts, sweet potato hash, maple mustard-glazed chicken and rigatoni primavera.

After an epic dance party to some great entertainment by The Brook & The Bluff, the couple was sent off by their family and friends. Guests received individual, tulle-tied bags filled with flower petals and covered the couple as they exited towards their new life together.

We just love these sweet flower girl photos, and that got us thinking. Where did the flower girl tradition come from?

There were many different variations of flower girls from the Victorian Era to the Elizabethan Era, but the flower girl dates all the way back to the Roman Empire.

In ancient Rome, flower girls carried sheaves of wheat and bouquets of herbs to bless the couple with fertility and prosperity. Later, in the 14th century, they often carried strands of garlic to ward off evil and jealous spirits.

It wasn't until nearly the 16th century that we began to see flowers incorporated with the traditional herb bouquets carried by the little ones. From symbols of fertility, happiness and love to symbols of fidelity and luck, flowers and herbs played a significant role in wishing the wedding couple well. Among the most common were roses, orange blossoms, rosemary, and baby's breath.

Today, the flower girl might not necessarily represent fertility or carry strands of garlic down the aisle to ward off spirits, but they remain an important part of many ceremonies.

So what do you think? Will you incorporate flower girls into your wedding? Let us know what the traditions means to you.
