Dive into Whitney and Carson’s love story with a winter wedding that seamlessly blends modern trends with timeless charm. It was a stylish black and white affair, complemented by fresh greenery.

Their special day started at The Scarritt Bennett Center, the perfect backdrop for Whitney and Carson to say their “I dos.” The ceremony was full of timeless elegance with historic charm in the Wighman Chapel.

“Walking down the aisle and seeing Carson for the first time that day, and all the people we love in the same room … it was a feeling I could never imagine,” Whitney shared with us.

She stunned in a full lace gown alongside her best gals in matching beige dresses. As for the groom, Carson and his groomsmen rocked the traditional suit and tie look.

After sealing the deal with a kiss, the celebration continued at The Bell Tower in Downtown Nashville. If you’ve never been, picture this: arched windows, historic charm, and wide open spaces. Greenery arrangements sat atop each table and adorned the large chandeliers, giving the main space a forest feel. Tables were dressed in black linens that made the greenery and white floral arrangements pop, with matching black drapery framing the grand windows. It was the perfect blend of modern trends and timeless style.

When guests arrived, they were met with signature cocktails and a large grazing table covered in delicious treats. After guests found their seats, they were served a plated dinner service with selections of bourbon glazed salmon with grilled asparagus and parmesan risotto, maple mustard glazed chicken with brown sugar glazed carrots and roasted garlic mashed potato, and smoked brisket with grilled corn and black eyed pea salad.

The newlyweds opened the dance floor with a first dance to “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” and “Brown Eyed Girl” before guests joined in the all-night celebration!

Whitney and Carson were later sent off with white and orange pom poms in honor of their alma mater, the University of Tennessee.

Tala and Vagif said their “I dos” at the Estate at Cherokee Dock with a stunning outdoor ceremony in the Serenity Gardens followed by a beautiful seated dinner in the Lakeview Event Center.

These two first met during their college years and eventually fell in love. Vagif proposed at Nashville’s Love Circle, a romantic spot that overlooks the entire city. After surprising Tala with a sweet picnic, she said yes!

When it came to planning their wedding, it was important for the couple that their day flowed flawlessly so their only focus could be on sitting back, relaxing, and taking it all in. Accomplishment achieved, if we say so ourselves! Their day went off without a hitch.

Tala stunned in a sweetheart mermaid gown with draped off-the-shoulder sleeves and embroidered lace details. She accessorized with a jeweled hair piece, dainty tennis necklace, and a waltz length veil. Her bridesmaids donned champagne floor-length gowns in different styles, and all the ladies carried matching long-stem bouquets of classic white florals and greenery. Vagif and his groomsmen looked dapper in classic black tuxedos with coordinating white floral boutonnieres.

Following intimate vows in the Serenity Gardens, guests gathered on the patio of the Lakeview Event Center for a cocktail hour featuring an array of hors d’oeuvres prepared by the in-house chefs. Dishes included  ahi tuna in wonton baskets, avocado toast, butternut goat cheese stuffed mushrooms, classic tomato bruschetta, mini beef wellington, and braised short ribs.

When the reception began, Tala and Vagif were introduced with a special cultural performance by the Al Fursan Dabka and Zaffah Group as guests prepared for a plated dinner service of chicken piccata with grilled asparagus and parmesan risotto and herb salmon with broccolini.

The space was set with the most beautiful classic design featuring a mix of neutral white and champagne-colored linens, round and rectangle tables, and light wood crossback chairs. The tables were decorated with beautiful floral arrangements full of white blooms and greenery, white taper candles in gold candlesticks, and some elevated flowers to create dimension across the room. String lights were also hung above, cascading to the center of the room to create a warm glow.

After a sweet first dance to Elvis Presley’s “I Can’t Stop Falling In Love,” Tala and Vagif cut their classic white three-tier cake and opened up the dance floor!

Hannah and Caleb celebrated their nuptials with a timeless wedding at The Bridge Building and a reception full of classic whites and touches of glam.

Hannah, who’s from New York, found Caleb, a Nashville native, on Instagram and took her shot through a direct message! The pair later met for dinner and the rest was history.

Caleb proposed to Hannah the day after she moved to Nashville amid cardboard boxes and loads of excitement. For their wedding day, the most important part for them was simply to be wed. How sweet!

As for finding the right venue, Hannah said “everything just fell together perfectly,” and we’re so glad it did because we got to be a part of their special day!

When July 9, 2021 arrived, Hannah and Caleb said “I do” with a downtown view from the wide windows of The Bridge Building’s main space and a wooden cross at the end of the altar. Hannah walked the aisle to her now husband in a stunning fit-and flare-gown with lace details, an all-white bouquet, and a Hollywood glam-inspired hairdo.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed delicious hors d'oeuvres of candied bacon, fried mac and cheese, mini chicken and waffles, and pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta, all whilethe Infinity team flipped the main space for dinner.

The reception was set with classic white linens and chairs, all white florals, a glamorous chandelier from Nashville Lighting and Production, and a greenery wall with a custom LED sign! Each table had touches of glam in gold candle votives, vases, and chic acrylic table numbers.

As guests found their seats, they awaited a plated dinner service of honey balsamic chicken with confit fingerling potatoes and broccolini, bourbon glazed salmon with  grilled asparagus and  peppercorn melange risotto, and blackberry pork loin with buttermilk whipped potatoes and broccolini.

Hannah’s maid of honor kicked off the night with a sweet toast, and the crowd danced the night away with a take home donut from Donut Distillery.

LARSON FLORAL CO.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITE LOCAL FLORISTS

With a keen eye for aesthetics and a love for all things pink, Natasha Larson and her team at Larson Floral Co. are one of our most beloved vendors.

Natasha has worked in the Nashville floral and event industry for over 12 years.

"I have such a genuine love for flowers and weddings. They bring me so much joy," Natasha explains. "Anyone can learn to design, but when you design with love and passion, that makes all the difference."

Working alongside Natasha to make all floral dreams possible are seven creative women; Dena, Becky, Ashley, Destiny, Monica, Angela, and Ashley.

Scroll on for a Q&A with Natasha herself and be sure to check out more of her work in our real wedding blogs.

1. How did you get your start in the floral industry?

I was given a floral manager position at a Kroger 12 years ago. After a few years, I had an opportunity to do my first wedding on my own, and I never looked back. The excitement of the wedding day was addictive!

2. What’s your favorite part of your job?

  1. When you hit it on the nail and your clients and their families tell you you hit it on the nail.
  2. The relationships we [are] building with clients and vendors.
  3. Opening our weekly boxes and seeing what is coming in!

3. How has your experience been working with Infinity?

My team and I  love all the planners and staff at Infinity! We have been blessed to be a part of their vendor team! It's wonderful going to a venue on a regular basis!

4. Do you have a favorite flower?

This is a hard one. I love them all, but if I had to pick one it would be stock. It comes in all colors and the fluffy shade is great!

5. How would you describe your style or aesthetic?

Whimsical garden; however, we can do all styles from boho, garden, romantic, and traditional!

6. What’s your best kept secret when it comes to florals?

I know how to make a flower look like a peony when they aren't in season!

7. What’s your current favorite floral trend?

Color! I am loving all the different shades our clients have picked this year!

8. Any tips for couples?

  1. Be honest with your flower budget. This cuts a lot of back and forth and helps us guide you to your vision but with budget-friendly options in mind. Everyone has a budget. It may be $2,000 or $10,000 for florals, but there is a “I'm not spending any more” moment.
  2. Have a few photos picked out that you like the most to show your florist, [and] then give them the artistic ability to make your vision come to life.

COURTNEY + RYAN’S TRADITIONAL SUMMER WEDDING https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/courtney-ryan-traditional-summer-wedding/ Thu, 01 Jul 2021 06:00:56 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=28860 A traditional romantic wedding with champagne accents and lots of greenery.

On the Fourth of July in 2020, Courtney and Ryan had a traditional summer wedding filled with champagne accents, neutrals, lots of greenery, and so many sweet moments.

The happy couple first met through some mutual friends during their freshman year at the University of Tennessee. They believe that fate would have brought them together one way or another during their college years, but they’re thankful they were able to “grow up” and enjoy all of their time in undergrad together.

Among the many special outings the pair shared, their Christmas date right before they went to see their families was always the most special. On December 21st of 2018, Ryan and Courtney dressed up and headed to the Opryland for a romantic night of lights and laughter. After dinner and a horse-drawn carriage ride, Ryan got down on one knee and popped the question!

When it came to finding the perfect venue, Courtney and Ryan had a very specific wishlist. “When we walked into the Bell Tower, our eyes lit up, and we both knew The Bell Tower checked all the boxes. It's walking distance to Broadway, a beautiful and intimate venue, PLUS a historic renovated 1800's church, so it still allowed for the traditional feel: It was perfect,” Courtney told us.

On the big day, Courtney was dressed in a sleek fitted gown with a long appliqué flower petal veil and held a bouquet of white flowers and delicate eucalyptus. Her bridesmaids were dressed in contemporary off-shoulder, champagne dresses.

Ryan and his groomsmen sported sleek black suits with matching silk ties, and they were all looking sharp!

Being surrounded by their loved ones and embracing wedding traditions were the most important things for the couple. When it was time for the ceremony, Courtney’s dad walked her down the aisle after she gave him a sweet note.

As the couple tied the knot in front of a geometric wooden arch decorated with romantic floral arrangements, they shared their own personalized vows and participated in a unity candle lighting that both their parents also included in their weddings.

Afterward, guests headed out to the patio to enjoy a cocktail hour and sip a few fine wines while the Infinity staff transformed the main space with glowing string lights, warm neutral linens, and mirrored candlelit centerpieces.

The wedding guests sat down for a plated dinner of maple mustard glazed chicken or herb-roasted pork loin with sauteed seasonal vegetables and four-cheese macaroni. After everyone filled their bellies and enjoyed the traditional first dances, the Emerald Empire Band got everyone out on the dance floor to celebrate with the newly married couple.

At the end of the night, it was time for a bouquet and garter toss before the newlyweds made their way to the getaway car through a line of sparklers that were perfect for celebrating this Fourth of July wedding.
