Emmy and Mike celebrated their marriage with a colorful, festival-inspired wedding at The Bridge Building full of eclectic retro details, touches of gold, and a sunset ambiance.

The pair met at Vanderbilt University on the Crew Team and, after graduation, dated long distance while Mike attended med school in his home state of Florida and Emmy went to grad school for law and psychology in Nebraska. Power couple, if we do say so ourselves!

After 7 years of dating and lots of FaceTime calls, Emmy decided it was time to pop the question one July afternoon over another virtual date.

The soon-to-be newlyweds began their fall wedding day getting ready in the lounge areas of the Bridge Building before their outdoor ceremony on the riverfront patio. Emmy was dressed in a beaded dress with a high ponytail, and a bouquet of bright florals consisting of pink, purple, orange, and more.

Inspired by Emmy's love of music festivals, their Jewish ceremony was set facing the pedestrian bridge with oriental rugs and bohemian gold lanterns lining the aisle, and a simple copper chuppah with asymmetrical floral arrangements of orange and pink blooms at the altar. String lights hung above with colorful fringe tassels and the sun began to set over the Nashville skyline.

Once the newlyweds said “I do,” guests enjoyed a crisp glass of wine, live music, and boho lounge seating areas before heading into the Cumberland space for a colorful reception.

For the reception, the tables were set with blue, ivory, and dusty rose linens, gold vases, disco ball installs, and colorful taper candles inside hurricane vases, along with bright floral arrangements featuring shades of orange and pink and lots of greenery.

Guests enjoyed a stationed dinner of classic BYO sliders, Mexican street corn, a selection of salads, and a TN food truck with late night bites including gourmet french fries and a trio of quesadillas.

Emmy and Mike shared a sweet first dance after cutting one of their three delicious and uniquely decorated cakes before everyone made their way to the rooftop and celebrated the night away!

Gray and Trent celebrated their love with a romantic and retro-inspired ceremony and reception filled with pink and red details at The Bell Tower.

On their big day, Gray was a true vision in her fitted lace gown with a deep V neckline, padded shoulders, and lace sleeves. She wore her hair in an old Hollywood-style blowout with pearl drop earrings and held a unique bouquet of flamingo flower anthuriums. Her bridesmaids looked elegant and edgy in mismatched black gowns with smaller versions of Gray’s bridal bouquet created with anthurium flowers in white, pink, and red.

Trent wore a dapper dark red jacquard tuxedo jacket while his groomsmen wore matching classic black. They also brought a bit of Western flare with cowboy hats.

The ceremony was the definition of romantic and retro with touches of modern details. The Bell Tower’s main space was set with mixed seating featuring vintage-style pink velvet sofas in the first few rows and a modern acrylic stand setup serving as the ceremony backdrop. The stands were adorned with bright pink, red, and white blooms that complemented the pink sofas perfectly.

Gray and Trent's romantic reception was set with red linens, vintage lounge groupings, and string lighting. Their sweetheart table stood out in white with the most beautiful full blooms and pink taper candles, using their ceremony decor as the backdrop. The retro style continued into their cake which was pink and featured Lambeth-style buttercream decorations in red and white. Not a detail was missed throughout their entire day!

Unlocking Your Wedding Design Style: A Comprehensive Guide https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/how-to-find-your-wedding-design-style/ Fri, 17 Feb 2023 22:03:45 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=33106 Eight tips on how to find your wedding design style with inspiration from real weddings.

WHAT IS YOUR WEDDING STYLE?

8 TIPS WITH REAL WEDDING INSPIRATION

Maybe you’ve had a secret wedding Pinterest board for years and know exactly what you want, or maybe you’re overwhelmed by the millions of photos you’ve seen and don’t know where to start. No matter what boat you’re in, we’re here to help you find the perfect vibe to make your wedding day truly special. Read on for our tips on how to find your wedding style.

1. Chat with your partner

First things first, talk it through with your partner. Whether they’re giving you free reign or have their own Pinterest board, you’ll want to make sure you’re on the same page when it comes to what you both are envisioning for the day.

2. Choose a level of formality

Consider the overall vibe you’re looking for. Do you want your day to be more formal or a little bit casual? Formality will impact everything from food service to linens, to guest attire and everything in between. Nailing this down first will help you narrow down a style. Opting for black tie? Go glam. Keeping it casual? Rustic might be for you!

3. Consider the season

The season you choose to have your wedding can inform things like color palette, floral choices, linen textures, and more. Summer is a great time to incorporate tropical arrangements and vibrant colors, while fall and winter are perfect for luxe velvet linens and rich color palettes like rust orange, wine red, or emerald green.

Sarah and Joseph embraced spring by bringing the outside in with stunning hanging florals and pastel hues.

4. Choose a color palette

Once you’ve nailed down formality and the season, and talked to your partner about what colors are absolute yays and nays, it’s time to choose a color palette. Because colors evoke different emotions, it can help inform overall style and vibe. We associate blues with serenity, while reds evoke feelings of passion and love. A black and white color palette feels sophisticated and powerful, lending itself to classic, modern, or glamorous styles, while vibrant colors work well with vintage-inspired, Bohemian, and tropical styles.

At The Bridge Building, Susie and Connar's all white color palette combined with clean modern lines created an air of simple sophistication.

Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was three steps ahead of Pantone and chose a magenta color palette for her 2022 wedding. Hues of pink and red were paired with vintage furniture and striking florals, creating an overall romantic and retro vibe.

5. Consider your personal style

How would you describe your personal style? Minimalist, a little rock n’ roll, or country club chic? If fashion is an important part of how you express yourself and show your personality, think about incorporating the same elements into your wedding design.

Georgia and Chance’s October wedding was a true reflection of their personal style. Punk and goth, yet minimal.

Anna Caroline, style maven and owner of the boutique L.A. Green, incorporated fashion trends like silver metallics and 70s glam into her day. Likewise, Gray, a Bell Tower bride and stylist at Local Honey, was influenced by silver metallics and the trending color magenta.

6. Look at how you decorate your home

Get inspired by interior design. Our homes are often reflections of ourselves, so if you want your wedding to be uniquely you, take a look around you. How does the space feel? What colors do you use? Is your home more minimal and modern or vibrant and eclectic?

7. Consider your passions

Do you want to incorporate any shared passions into your decor? Maybe you have a shared love of gardening or you're passionate about your family heritage; these elements can influence your style.

Bridge Building bride Emmy loves Bonnaroo and has been to the music festival every year for the past decade. She brought the fun, festival vibe to life with vibrant florals, oriental rugs, vintage lounge furniture, disco balls, and more.

8. Find a muse

You should have a pretty good idea of what your wedding style is at this point, but if all else fails – find a muse. If you’ve seen a wedding you love on TV, in a movie, or in a magazine, that’s a good place to start. Royal weddings, like Meghan and Harry’s, are loaded with classic wedding inspiration. Mandy Moore’s is what boho wedding dreams are made of, and Audrey Hepburn’s is sure to spark ideas for any vintage enthusiast. Who's your muse?

At the end of the day, don’t feel like you have to fit in a box. Create harmony by combining different elements and styles to truly make your wedding your own.

Madeline and Jackson celebrated their marriage with a beautiful fall wedding day designed with a mix of modern elements, boho chic details, and classic style at The Bridge Building.

This sweet pair met when they were only 12 years old through their church. In January 2021, Jackson got down on one knee at the Gentry Farm and surprised Madeline with a sweet proposal and family to celebrate.

When it came to planning, the couple wanted to prioritize the intimacy of their ceremony and the fun of their reception. For them, the venue choice was easy. Madeline later told us, “We always knew we wanted The Bridge Building. We booked way ahead of time to ensure we could secure our date! We love the atmosphere there and the unbelievable view of the Nashville skyline.”

The soon-to-be newlyweds began their fall wedding day with a first look on the Cumberland River greenway. It was one of their most memorable moments from the day and completely calmed any wedding day jitters. Madeline was dressed in a high-neck gown with ruching, while Jackson was in a classic black tux.

For the ceremony, the Cumberland space was set with a hanging greenery installation with white pampas, pillar candles lining the aisle for a warm glow, striking pampas arrangements at the altar, and a beautiful nighttime city view.

After Madeline and Jackson said “I do,” guests enjoyed a few delectable appetizers including fried green tomatoes, hot chicken biscuits, Italian meatballs, and pepper jelly pimento cheese bruschetta on the riverfront patio while the Infinity staff flipped the space for the reception. Tables were set with greenery runners, mauve cheesecloth gauze, lavender sprigs, and a mix of modern gold centerpieces filled with a mix of candles and white florals.

When guests found their seats, they enjoyed a stationed dinner prepared by the in-house chef of BYO sliders, gourmet mac and cheese, smoked gouda bowtie pasta, white cheddar with penne pasta, and a mashed potato station. Afterwards, Madeline and Jackson shared a first dance to “Best Part of Me” by Ed Sheran.

The night continued with a party on the dance floor and guests cheered on the newlyweds with their alumni school flags and wedding bells.

Kate and Tanner tied the knot at the Cordelle with a modern fall wedding full of rust colors, simplistic design, and all the love.

This sweet pair met the modern way, through an app called Bumble, and the rest was history! Later on, Tanner privately proposed with three dozen roses and tea lights at home on their annual Christmas date. Tanner even had a specialty ring created from Kate’s family jewels, and we couldn't think of anything more special!

It was important to these two that their guests had good food and a blast celebrating their marriage since most of the family would be traveling from out of town.

Opting out of a first look, they first locked eyes as Kate walked down the aisle to her now husband, Tanner, who was standing in front of a floral arch of ivory blooms and greenery. She was dressed in a fitted gown with dainty buttons along the back, while Tanner rocked a deep blue tux and black bowtie for his fall wedding style.

After the vows, guests made their way inside to enjoy some delectable apps prepared by Dream Events and Catering, including mini BLT bites, crab cakes, goat cheese tartlets, and flank steak skewers, before a buffet dinner.

The reception space was set with a mix of ivory linens and wood farm tables, Edison bulb lighting, silky rust orange napkins, and touches of gold. Above the dance floor hung a custom creation of a greenery ring by LMA Designs and Nashville Lighting and Production

Before the night came to a close with a slice of cake, Kate and Tanner shared a first dance to “Quite Like You.”

Victoria and Chris celebrated their marriage with a moody wedding at The Bridge Building full of dramatic mauve floral arrangements, touches of gold, and a romantic ambiance.

The pair met back in 2012 through Chris’ love of photography, and they’ve hit it off ever since. Chris later proposed to Victoria in November 2019.

The soon-to-be newlyweds began their fall wedding day with a first look at the historic hotel in Downtown Nashville, the Hermitage. Victoria was dressed in an A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and embroidered lace.

As for the rest of the wedding party, the bridesmaids were in mix-and-match deep green dresses in different fabrics, and the groomsmen wore classic suits with silky green ties.

The Cumberland space of The Bridge Building was set with a floating floral install that served as the ceremony and sweetheart table backdrop, Edison bulb lighting for a warm glow, black chairs, and a city view.

Once the newlyweds said “I do,” guests enjoyed a few delectable appetizers, including fresh oysters, bacon-wrapped dates, and smoked trout, on the riverfront patio while the Infinity staff flipped the space for the reception.

In exchange for their place card to find their seats, guests were encouraged to snap a quick Polaroid photo to leave for the couple as an alternative to a traditional guestbook.

For the reception, the tables were set with black linens, gold chargers, vintage-inspired glassware, and black taper candles in brass candlesticks inside hurricane vases, along with moody floral arrangements featuring shades of mauve and purple, dark greenery, and dainty white flowers.

Guests enjoyed selections of filet mignon with grilled asparagus and white cheddar potato gratin, blackberry pork loin with sweet potato mash and broccolini, and sesame crusted yellowfin tuna with a daikon and carrot salad with teriyaki edamame soba noodles before grabbing a prepackaged Christie Cookie, a local favorite.

Victoria and Chris shared a sweet first dance to “I Love You Baby” by Frankie Valley before the DJ opened the dance floor and everyone celebrated the night away!

The post Janie + Andrew’s October Masquerade Wedding appeared first on Infinity Hospitality.

Janie and Andrew had the New Orleans-style masquerade wedding reception of their dreams at The Bell Tower in October of last year— and it was a long time coming! They originally planned their wedding day in January earlier that year, but due to COVID, they were only able to hold their ceremony and had to postpone the reception.

While Janie is from Nashville, and Andrew is from New Orleans, they met in Nashville during a snowstorm right after Mardi Gras in 2015. Andrew was getting cabin fever from being cooped up in the snow, and Janie needed to blow off some steam from grad school. They both decided to take a shot on a blind date. One date turned into two, and on their second date someone interrupted their conversation to ask how long they had been married. Clearly they were on to something!

For their January ceremony, Janie looked beautiful in a classic sweetheart gown paired with a beaded hair comb. Her bridesmaids wore dresses in different shades of blue, and they all carried coordinating floral bouquets with varying white anemones, roses, and eucalyptus leaves. Andrew wore a classic black tuxedo, with a white floral boutonniere.

The October reception was a masquerade-style party filled with bright colors and wild, moody florals—which fit the date perfectly because it took place on Halloween! Our covered patio was decorated with a vibrant lounge area featuring pink and green velvet furniture from Spark Vintage Rentals and a moss-covered wall with a custom neon sign that read “Til Death Do Us Party.” The tables outside were dressed in soft pink satin linens, moody taper candles, brass candelabras, and bud vases with single stems inside.

After the cocktail hour guests gathered in the main space,  which was set with pink uplighting, crystal chandeliers, black linens, and velvet black drapery. The tables were adorned with large floral displays, full of red and pink roses, dried branches, moody leaves, and bright hanging flowers that tied in the masquerade theme.

Guests danced the night away, having the ultimate Halloween masquerade ball to celebrate the beautiful couple. Scroll on to see for yourself!

Cori + Tony’s Whimsical Rust Wedding https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/cori-tony-whimsical-rust-wedding/ Tue, 06 Sep 2022 02:00:40 +0000 https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/?p=31934 A wedding ceremony and reception of rust colors and whimsical florals at the Bridge Building.

The post Cori + Tony’s Whimsical Rust Wedding appeared first on Infinity Hospitality.

Here’s a look back at Cori and Tony’s earthy wedding day full of whimsical florals and rust-colored details at the Bridge Building.

Cori and Tony met while working for the same company and quickly knew they had found their person. They tried to keep it a secret so as to not disrupt their work environment, but unbeknownst to them, their connection was obvious and the secret didn’t last long!

While on a trip at a family condo in Gulf Shores, the couple took a sunset walk on the beach. To Cori’s surprise, Tony got down on one knee and popped the question, to which Cori replied “yes” behind tears of excitement.

“Tony always liked the idea of getting married at the Bridge Building, and we only visited three venues when we were searching. We had only lived here for a few years when we got engaged, so we really wanted to give our family and guests the full Nashville experience and just had to find a venue that was downtown. But honestly, the view from the Bridge Building really solidified it for us,” Cori explained.

Since their original wedding date was postponed for over a year due to COVID-19, it was most important to them that they were finally able to acknowledge their elopement and celebrate their love with friends and family.

On their September wedding day, Cori and her bridesmaids wore off-the-shoulder gowns in paired with colorful bouquets in earthy pastel shades of orange, pink, and yellow blooms. While Cori was in traditional white, her bridesmaids wore a rich emerald teal.

The ceremony was held in the main space with wood crossback chairs and whimsical wildflower arrangements lining the aisle. Greenery and pillar candles lined the altar as the pair said their “I dos”  while the sunlight beamed through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Bridge Building.

After the vows, guests mingled for a cocktail hour with Pinot Grigio and candied bacon while Infinity staff flipped the main space. The head table was a dark wood, farmhouse-style table decorated with minimal yet trendy florals in whimsical arrangements and bud vases, satin rust-colored napkins, greenery down the center, and various small candles. The rest of the tables were dressed with white linens and had larger centerpiece arrangements created with matching florals.

Guests found their seats for a plated dinner of maple mustard glazed chicken with sour cream whipped potatoes and brown sugar glazed carrots, bourbon glazed salmon with grilled asparagus and peppercorn melange risotto, herb roasted pork loin with grilled yellow squash and sour cream whipped potatoes, and vegetarian eggplant parmesan.

Cori and Tony later shared their first dance to “Eyes Shut” by Years and Years, who was the first concert they shared together as a couple, making it the perfect choice for their wedding day. The night continued at Barlines, a nearby downtown bar, and rumor has it the fun hasn’t stopped!

Here’s a look at Kendra and Dwight's romantic and rustic fall wedding day at The Bell Tower. A day filled with a lot of love and sweet, personalized details.

This couple met in Nashville, working at Johnny Rockets in Opry Mills. After some persuasion, Dwight grew on Kendra and they started dating.

After four years, they got engaged in Cincinnati, Ohio, while on a skiing trip, and Dwight popped the question at a restaurant they went to!

When they started planning their wedding, they knew they wanted a fall, rustic-feeling wedding. This ultimately led them to The Bell Tower. It was our history and cozy, rustic vibe that sealed the deal for Kendra and Dwight. Added bonus? A select number of mahogany chiavari chairs, round tables, china, silverware, and glassware are included in our venue rental.

Kendra looked stunning in her sweetheart gown with lace and bead detailing from Eddy K Bridal. The bridesmaids wore burgundy dresses, while the bridesman and groomsmen wore coordinating black suits with burgundy ties. The groom stood out from his best men with an embossed suit jacket that had a satin lapel.

Kendra and Dwight held their ceremony between our tall, arched windows. The aisle led to  a beautiful hexagonal arch decorated with greenery and white, red, and soft pink flowers by Creations by Debbie. Cascading string lights were hung overhead from our original wood beams that created a warm glow against the exposed wood, the perfect touch for a romantic fall wedding.

The space was then transformed for the reception, using their ceremony arch as the backdrop to their sweetheart table! The tables were decorated with white linens, burgundy napkins, and floral centerpieces of greenery with red roses.

The couple included several personalized touches throughout the day, such as a black and white photo wall to showcase their relationship, a framed quote used as a guestbook, and a signature cocktail—the Green Hawaiian.
