The Bell Tower became the enchanting backdrop for Carley and Turner’s September wedding day. Combining timeless elegance with a few modern trends, their wedding was a stunning blend of bold and bright florals and classic black-and-white decor.

The couple told us they “immediately fell in love with The Bell Tower when we first visited the venue. It was exactly what we had imagined and we loved that it can accommodate a large group while still feeling very intimate.”

These Nashville natives have known each other since they were kids. Carley and Turner started dating their sophomore year at the University of Tennessee where they continued to run in the same circles. Turner proposed at the Richland Country Club, where they later ended up having their rehearsal dinner!

Carley and Turner’s vision for their wedding decor was a seamless fusion of classic and contemporary elements. The venue was adorned with striking black and white decor, creating a sophisticated and timeless ambiance. The florals added a burst of vibrant colors to the scene. Bold bouquets of roses, peonies, and dahlias in shades of red, pink, and orange brought warmth and energy to the venue.

Carley stunned in a strapless gown from Adorn Nashville with trendy full sleeve lace gloves, while her best gals dressed to impress in mismatched black bridesmaid dresses. Turner looked classically dapper in a black tuxedo from Street Tuxedo Nashville with groomsmen to match.

The couple exchanged vows before a beautifully adorned floral installation, soft white draping, and classic crystal chandeliers hanging above.

After saying their “I dos,” Carley said one her favorite moments of the day was walking down the mezzanine staircase into their reception as a newly-married couple. Black and white linens adorned each table, providing a chic and sophisticated backdrop for the vibrant floral centerpieces. The dance floor was alive with energy as friends and family joined the newlyweds in celebrating their love. Good food, music, and being with all those they love was the focal point of importance to this couple when it came to planning their day— and we have to say they achieved just that!

As the couple danced the night away, surrounded by the love and joy of their closest friends and family, it was clear that their wedding day was not just an event but a beautiful beginning to a lifetime of happiness together!

Gray and Trent celebrated their love with a romantic and retro-inspired ceremony and reception filled with pink and red details at The Bell Tower.

On their big day, Gray was a true vision in her fitted lace gown with a deep V neckline, padded shoulders, and lace sleeves. She wore her hair in an old Hollywood-style blowout with pearl drop earrings and held a unique bouquet of flamingo flower anthuriums. Her bridesmaids looked elegant and edgy in mismatched black gowns with smaller versions of Gray’s bridal bouquet created with anthurium flowers in white, pink, and red.

Trent wore a dapper dark red jacquard tuxedo jacket while his groomsmen wore matching classic black. They also brought a bit of Western flare with cowboy hats.

The ceremony was the definition of romantic and retro with touches of modern details. The Bell Tower’s main space was set with mixed seating featuring vintage-style pink velvet sofas in the first few rows and a modern acrylic stand setup serving as the ceremony backdrop. The stands were adorned with bright pink, red, and white blooms that complemented the pink sofas perfectly.

Gray and Trent's romantic reception was set with red linens, vintage lounge groupings, and string lighting. Their sweetheart table stood out in white with the most beautiful full blooms and pink taper candles, using their ceremony decor as the backdrop. The retro style continued into their cake which was pink and featured Lambeth-style buttercream decorations in red and white. Not a detail was missed throughout their entire day!

Megan and Michael celebrated their nuptials with a classic white wedding at The Bridge Building.

Megan moved from Baton Rouge to Music City in 2017 and quickly made friends with a group of girls that would later introduce her to her future hubby. Soon after Michael moved from Charleston in the spring of 2018, they were both invited on a kayaking trip by one of Megan’s new gals. And it is safe to say that it was love at first sight!

The pair then spent a year and a half traveling from Orange Beach to Cincinnati, growing their relationship before Michael decided to propose at the beautiful Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina.

When it came time to plan the wedding, they knew they wanted to have good drinks and even better music. And what better place to have that than in the heart of downtown Nashville?

On March 27, 2021, the rooftop of the Bridge Building was set with swooping string lights, pillar candles lining the aisle, and a copper arch with floral arrangements that framed the altar.

Before the ceremony began, Megan and Michael shared a sweet first look that they will cherish for years to come.

Following their classic ceremony, guests headed downstairs to sip on a signature cocktail— a classic Paloma. White linens, winter florals, and moody string lights transformed the main space into a dreamy reception.

Dinner featured several stations of gourmet french fries, macaroni and cheese, four cheese penne pasta, smoked gouda bowtie pasta, bread bowls with three soup selections, and build-your-own sliders.

As guests cleaned their plates, the rooftop opened for a night full of fun and dancing. Megan and Michael kicked off the dance floor with their first dance to “Precious Love” by James Morrison.

And before the night was over, the couple gave their guests double doozies and Taco Bell for a late-night snack. Yum!

BLOSSOMING TRENDS

OUR FAVORITE UNIQUE FLORALS

Inspired by the latest wedding trends of 2021, we wanted to dive a little deeper into one of our current crushes — unique florals.

From fluffy pampas grass to breaking the tradition of white and green, flowers can be an essential part of creating a design for any event. They are influential to setting the mood and adding a little (or a whole lotta!) personality.

Stay tuned for what wedding trends we're currently crushing and scroll on for Pinterest-worthy floral inspiration from our real weddings!

1. Pampas

First up is, of course, the beloved pampas grass that we have all seen take over weddings. Whether it’s fluffed or dried, neutral or painted, pampas stands tall among other traditional wedding florals.

In a bouquet, centerpiece, or floating install, pampas makes a dramatic impact with minimal effort, and there are countless ways to incorporate it into your wedding day.

Like Lauren + Michael and Courtney + Dalton’s weddings featured below, pampas grass was incorporated into their ceremony decor to dress up the altar on the rooftop of the Bridge Building.

2. Tropical

We’re seeing so many themes this year, and one of the biggest? Tropical!

The bright greens and bold flowers of the tropics have inspired our brides to create striking bouquets and floral arrangements, with palm leaves and protea taking center stage.

Abi + Jeffrey used tropical greenery for her bouquet, to line the aisle of their ceremony, and in centerpieces to carry the tropical vibes into the reception.

3. Dried

Dried flowers are definitely in the spotlight! From the decor to the bouquet, they are a great way to break from tradition and add some texture to your arrangements.

Not to mention, dried florals can amplify both a modern and romantic style, be a little more eco-friendly, more cost-effective, and they will last forever!

Courtney + Dalton used dried flowers in the groom’s boutonniere and wedding decor like Chelsey + Parker‘s dried thistle centerpieces.

4. Alternative

Not into florals? No biggie! Go the alternative route with full greenery. Potted cacti or magnolia leaves create a foam-free design with just as much of an impact on the overall look and feel of your wedding.

You can take this alternative design to frame your altar, line your tables, or create a photo backdrop!

And on the practical side, you could use the potted plant decor as party favors or take them home to plant in your yard as a lasting memory.

5. Color

After 2020, we’re all looking to have a little more fun. Why not express that through your color palette? Big, bright blooms are making their way through every season, and we bet 2021 won’t be the end of it.

From monochromatic floral arrangements to including every shade in the color wheel, you can expect to see a lot more couples opting out of the traditional white and green arrangements for more mood-boosting designs.

Julia + Ivan’s wedding was simple and classic, but her sunset-inspired florals created a perfect pop of bright color with soft orange, pinks, and peach blooms.

Rachel and Riley had a modern wedding with sage and teal details at The Bridge Building last summer.

This Midwestern pair met in 2017 when they just so happened to be visiting Nashville the same weekend. Rachel was enjoying a girls' trip when she bumped into a bachelor party Riley was part of at the FGL House on Broadway. They instantly hit it off and started a long-distance relationship that lasted for the next two years.

Later on, Riley popped the question as they were standing underneath the Arch in St. Louis at sunset. Rachel told us that Riley “wrapped his arm around me, kissed my forehead, and said, ‘I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.’ Next thing I knew, he was on one knee asking me to marry him!”

When Rachel and Riley began looking for venues, they knew they wanted to get married in Nashville because it's the city where they met. The Bridge Building caught their eye with its modern structure, natural lighting, and the beautiful views of downtown.

The most important part of their wedding day was the simple act of becoming husband and wife. Amid, “an ongoing pandemic, moving from home, starting a new job, and all the stress of wedding plans in between, getting to celebrate our love and commitment to one another with our family and friends was all that mattered at the end of the day,” Rachel said.

So when the date finally arrived, Infinity staff with the help of Nashville Lighting & Production and Echoes of Eden Florals set up the rooftop with twinkling string lights and geometric pedestals topped with delicate white blooms. Before guests arrived, Rachel shared a first look with Riley—where the two exchanged sweet letters—and then had a sweet first-look moment with her dad.

During the ceremony, the pair brought out a special bottle of wine for a fun unity ritual that dates back to ancient Greece. Together, they sealed the wine in a box to embrace and symbolize their union. Whenever Rachel and Riley choose to open the locked box at a later date, they will be able to reminisce on that special moment and enjoy a nicely aged vintage.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with Pinot Grigio, bacon-wrapped sweet potatoes, and spicy crab wontons.

Before taking their seats for a delicious plated dinner, Rachel and Riley were announced as newlyweds and shared their first dance to “H.O.L.Y.” by Florida Georgia Line as a nod to the bar where they first met. Then, the venue's rooftop was transformed for a modern summer reception with linens and simple greenery centerpieces.

To kick off the party, Rachel shared a sweet dance with her grandfather to “Forever Young,” by Rod Stewart, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight!

After a few hours of celebration, it was time for guests to pick up their wedding favors, and they received personalized wine stoppers as an homage to the newlyweds’ love for wine. And it can’t be a Nashville wedding at The Bridge Building without a sparkler send-off under the bridge!

Kelsie and James had a chic blush wedding in late summer with romantic and playful touches at The Bell Tower.

The couple started their relationship after they met at a work conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once their love blossomed, James threw a surprise engagement at a brewery in Houston. To make it extra special, he made sure Kelsie’s family was there to celebrate with them right after she said yes!

As they started the planning process, they decided to celebrate with great food, an awesome bar, and a big party that their friends and family could enjoy.

Kelsie and James' ceremony featured plenty of romantic details like soft draping that accentuated a chandelier, a wooden archway adorned with white and dusty pink roses, and an aisle lined with white petals and pillar candles. Kelsie made a grand entrance using the staircase that was covered in greenery with white roses and hydrangeas dotted throughout.

After the two exchanged vows, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour with passed appetizers like fried mac and cheese and deviled eggs as the event staff flipped the main space for the reception.

For dinner, guests sat down to tables decorated in fun sequined linens with romantic elements, such as tall Monet candlesticks. They enjoyed a Southern-inspired plated dinner that featured dishes like sweet tea marinated chicken, grilled veggies, and goat cheese grits.

We loved how all of the gilded mirror signs and table numbers with calligraphy tied the rest of their gold accent pieces together and added a touch of romance to the spaces. Plus, they went with a creative guest book idea: a gorgeous natural wood display.

And the big party that was at the top of their wish list? Kelsie and James were serious about having everyone dance the night away, so they gave their guests the chance to ditch the uncomfortable shoes and put on their ingenious party favors: flip flops!

And to add to the playful vibe, the couple had a gourmet cotton candy cart for their guests who wanted a freshly spun sweet treat.

Later in the night, the newlyweds headed over to The Bell Tower’s Tasting Room and served their guests a late-night snack of hot chicken biscuits.

Chelsea and Scott tied the knot with a chic, romantic summer wedding ceremony and reception at The Bridge Building.

This sweet pair met through mutual friends a few years ago and undoubtedly hit it off. Scott later proposed to Chelsea on the rooftop deck of their new home—their favorite place to be—during an intimate gathering with two of their best friends.

When it came time to choose their dream venue, Chelsea and Scott felt at home on the rooftop of The Bridge Building, and they loved having the view of the city. Chelsea later explained “Scott was sold as soon as we toured it," and we can’t blame him!

Before their traditional ceremony, the pair shared their most memorable moment: the first look! It was intimate and emotional for both of them It also helped calm their wedding day nerves.

Once the two said their “I dos,” guests made their way to the Cumberland space for the reception. Tables were set with summer florals, gold tea light candles, and acrylic table numbers.

Soon after guests found their seats, they were served plated meals of delectable selections like maple mustard glazed chicken with yellow squash and whipped potatoes, smoked brisket with grilled corn and four-cheese macaroni, and bourbon-glazed salmon with grilled asparagus and parmesan risotto.

After dinner, Chelsea and Scott kicked off the party with their first dance as the DJ played the song  “Blessed” by one of their favorite artists, Thomas Rhett.

And instead of a traditional send-off at the end of the night, the newlyweds invited their friends over to their house to continue the celebration.

Jenna and Dave had a romantic winter wedding with fun florals and an epic dance party at The Bell Tower. And it's safe to say we're still swooning.

In April of 2019, Dave asked Jenna to marry him on their back patio. He tied a note around their dog that read, “dad has an important question to ask you, please say yes!” Adorable!

When it came to the big day, it was important to have good music, a good photographer, and to keep the day as stress-free as possible. As for the venue, The Bell Tower was the first one they toured.

The day kicked off with a sweet first look on the patio and some wedding party pictures taken around downtown. Jenna had her girls dressed in colors of deep green and burgundy with fun, colorful bouquets.

After Jenna and Dave said their vows between the arched windows, guests enjoyed a traditional cocktail hour on the patio.

For the reception, the main space was set with neutral linens and modern centerpieces. After guests found their seats, a yummy buffet opened for dinner. Selections included haricot verts casserole, sun-dried tomato creamed spinach, cheddar cheese and chive smashed potatoes, arugula salad, and last but not least, chicken and waffles. Yum.

This sweet couple finished their night with a whole lot of dancing, a traditional garter toss, and a bit of karaoke to top it all off!

Allie and Ben's whimsical fall wedding at The Bridge Building was nothing short of a romantic autumn dream.

With a high school beginning, a birthday proposal in a charming Texas cabin and an amazing couple, we could hardly wait to get their wedding started!

Allie and Ben's wedding day began with a sweet first look. To the couple, it was most important that their guests had a fun time and truly enjoyed a Nashville experience.

Their candlelit ceremony was held at sunset on The Bridge Building rooftop with a whimsical arch of greenery by Echoes of Eden Florals at the altar. Afterward, guests took to the riverfront for cocktail hour and enjoyed a libation or two before heading inside for dinner.

For the reception, the main space was set with white and beige linens, string lights and centerpieces of ivory florals and greenery. Dinner stations opened later in the evening, complete with a trio of salads, build your own BBQ sliders, a chicken and waffles station, and a mashed potato station.

Before the day was complete with an epic sparkler exit on the riverfront, Allie and Ben shared their most memorable moment of the day, a private last dance on the rooftop.
