]]>Sarah and Richard celebrated their love with us at the Estate at Cherokee Dock with trendy personalized details and a timeless black and white wedding design.
These Tennessee natives first met over nine years ago in Cool Springs at a local bar. They’ve been nearly inseparable ever since! And when the time came, Richard planned a surprise engagement during a photoshoot with their sweet pup.
While planning their wedding, it was important for the couple that their day was a fun party for all, full of stylish decor, lots of florals, and a must-have “wow moment!” Accomplishment achieved, if we say so ourselves! Their day was one for the books.
Sarah stunned in a flowy ball gown with off-the-shoulder exaggerated sleeves and held a bouquet of all white florals including orchids, roses, and more. Her best gals stood by her side in mix-and-match black bridesmaids dresses with single-flower bouquets featuring the same flowers in Sarah’s. As for Richard and his groomsmen, they looked dapper in classic black tuxedos.
Following intimate vows on the Lakeside Lawn with all-white floral arrangements, guests gathered around the pool and the patio of the Lakeview Event Center for a cocktail hour featuring an array of hors d’oeuvres prepared by the in-house chefs. Dishes included candied bacon, bacon wrapped scallops, hot chicken biscuits, Italian meatballs, and braised short rib.
The reception in the Lakeview Event Center was set with ivory satin linens, taper candles and white floral centerpieces, a classic black and white checkered dance floor, a hanging disco ball installation, and printouts of Sarah and Richard’s lovable pup.
For their “wow moment,” Sarah and Richard shared a first dance as cold sparks lit up the room! And as the celebration began, Sarah changed into a cocktail version of her gown for the reception and paired it with sparkling silver sneakers and bedazzled cat eye sunglasses, bringing all the fun!.
The newlyweds ended the night with a private last dance to take in the moment. Keep scrolling to see all of the classic black and white wedding details!

]]>Abigail and Jacob said their “I dos” with a stunning outdoor ceremony on the Lakeside Lawn at the Estate at Cherokee Dock, followed by a beautiful seated dinner in the Lakeview Event Center.
The couple first met through a mutual friend in 2020. On their first date, they slow-danced in an empty parking lot in the rain. Talk about romance! Abigail and Jacob both knew within a week they had something special and were engaged the following year.
Abigail stunned in a sweetheart mermaid gown with a large, timeless bow on the back. She accessorized with coordinating satin fingerless gloves, gold flower earrings with a pearl drop, and a cathedral-length veil. She wore her hair in an elegant, sleek low bun. A vision of a classic bride! Her bridesmaids donned champagne ballerina-length gowns in different styles, and all the ladies carried matching long-stem bouquets of white florals and greenery. Jacob looked dapper in a white and black tuxedo, while his groomsmen wore matching classic black tuxedos with coordinating white floral boutonnieres.
The couple exchanged their vows on the beautiful Lakeside Lawn, standing in front of a ceremony arch created with white florals and greenery, which served as a stunning backdrop with sweeping views of the lake behind them.
Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the Lakeview Event Center, which was decorated in all whites for Abigail and Jacob’s classic reception. The tables were set with wooden chairs, crisp white linens, stunning elevated white flower arrangements of roses and greenery, with white drapery cascading across the ceiling. The large covered patio was set with a round white bar and mixed seating, round white and cocktail tables also decorated in white, providing guests with the perfect setting to enjoy the evening.
After dinner, everyone enjoyed a night of dancing and entertainment alongside the beautiful lakeside views!
As their dreamy wedding day came to an end, Abigail and Jacob shared a memorable celebratory jump into the pool with their wedding party. They then drove away in a luxurious Bentley as fireworks went off down the scenic drive. A perfect ending to a classic fairytale of an evening!
