Swooning for days over Jordan and Jake's elegant neutral wedding at The Bridge Building!

This sweet pair were high school sweethearts, and their years of love, laughter and tears radiated through them.

Both Nashville natives, Jake proposed under a tree at her parent's house where they took prom pictures together nearly 8 years ago. Their wedding day wish was to enjoy time with family and friends, and they did just that.

The couple's wedding weekend began with an elegant rehearsal dinner at The Quarter, followed by a timeless ceremony and reception at The Bridge Building.

They utilized a neutral color scheme of white, ivory and beige while florals and greenery added a touch of color. Jordan’s mom brought in some really fun rugs to enhance the ceremony space and other personal touches to incorporate.

Jordan and Jake kept their wedding traditional with the inclusion of Forget Me Not Designs' natural wood cross and the exclusion of a first look. Following a beautiful rooftop ceremony, guests headed to the riverfront for drinks and light bites.

For dinner, guests enjoyed table-side wine service along with maple mustard glazed chicken or creole shrimp and grits. Family and friends were given custom koozies, light-up sunglasses, fun light-up tambourines, and personalized M&M’s as take-homes.

The evening ended with sparkler sendoff under the Pedestrian Bridge, and the pair drove off into the night in a luxury sedan from Grand Avenue.

RACHEL + KEVIN’S CHIC GARDEN-INSPIRED WEDDING https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/rachel-kevin-chic-garden-inspired-wedding/ Mon, 21 May 2018 18:04:06 +0000 http://blog.infinityeventsandcatering.com/?p=7059 A modern take on a chic garden party with pale pink hues & lush florals at The Bell Tower.

We helped Chicago natives, Rachel and Kevin, travel to Nashville to tie the knot with a strikingly chic garden-inspired wedding at The Bell Tower.

For their big day, the couple desired a fun atmosphere illuminated by candlelight. They opted for a neutral color palette of champagne with blush, gold and silver accents.

Thanks to our friends at Quest, curtain-style draping added romance and provided a stunning ceremony backdrop. While our eye-catching crystal chandeliers added drama and ambiance.

"Secret Garden" style florals from Forget Me Not Designs were the icing on the cake. Among these included a single blush spray rose boutonniere for Kevin and a loose style bouquet with anemones, blush roses, eucalyptus, and greenery for Rachel. An impressive 10 foot curly willow arch interwoven with white stock flowers framed the altar. Loose greenery, black, white and metal lanterns, and candles in tall glass cylinders were scattered down the aisle.

Stylish signage and sweet table numbers were artfully calligraphed by White Ink Calligraphy.

Gorgeous gold chiavari chairs added the perfect amount of glamour to the ceremony, while beige linens and ivory napkins subtly set the tone for the reception. Thanks, Liberty Party Rental!

Rachel and Kevin affectionately call each other "bird." In honor of their sweet mutual nickname, Rachel gifted Kevin with custom lovebird cufflinks! It was the sweetest, most thoughtful detail that meant so much to them.

The couple's precious Pomeranian pup, Roxy, was the pre-ceremony star of the show, and they made sure to include her in their wedding photos.

For cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a variety of passed hors-d'oeuvres including cranberry bruschetta, coconut-crusted shrimp, miniature hot chicken and waffles, and Thai basil chili lamb lollipops.

A plated dinner followed with delicious southern biscuits and honey butter along with pre-set balsamic grape and apple salads to start. Entrees included red wine braised short ribs and bourbon-glazed salmon with lemon-scented asparagus, parmesan risotto, and southern-style green beans.

For dessert, bite-sized Bundtinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes were a crowd favorite!

As the evening came to a close, the couple decided to forgo a traditional send-off. Instead, they moved next door to Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint for a fun afterparty. It was the perfect way to cap off their magical evening and enjoy a late night bite!

NATALEE + MARC BOHO-INSPIRED FALL WEDDING https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/natalee-marc-boho-inspired-fall-wedding/ Tue, 20 Feb 2018 15:33:08 +0000 http://blog.infinityeventsandcatering.com/?p=4705 A stylish and bohemian-inspired fall wedding ceremony & reception at The Bridge Building.

For Natalee and Marc, it was essential their wedding was both fun for family and friends and absolutely beautiful. The couple's boho-inspired fall wedding ceremony and reception at The Bridge Building was just that.

To incorporate the bride's cool and eclectic boho style, we used a color palette of gold, gray, and marsala red with lots of wild greenery. Her stunning bouquet from Mansion & Marsh consisted of different types of seasonal greenery with pops of blush, and the deepest of burgundies.

With the skyline bright in the background, Natalee and Marc's evening ceremony in November was dark and romantic.

Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a laid-back cocktail-style reception which fit the two of them perfectly. Guests were offered a selection of hors-d'oeuvres to snack on including tomato bisque and miniature grilled cheese, mini pulled pork biscuit sliders, miniature chicken and waffles with rosemary sweet tea syrup, and candied bacon deviled eggs.

When the evening came to a close, the newlyweds said goodnight through a tunnel of sparklers. With Marc being a tour manager, guests sent them off on their very own tour bus! So fun and unique to the couple. Congratulations to Natalee and Marc!

TAMMY + JEFF’S ENCHANTING GARDEN STYLE WEDDING https://infinityhospitalitygroup.com/tammy-jeff-enchanting-garden-style-wedding/ Thu, 04 Jan 2018 20:53:23 +0000 http://blog.infinityeventsandcatering.com/?p=3811 A sentimental wedding inspired by an original love song at The Bridge Building.

Tammy and Jeff's enchanting garden style wedding at The Bridge Building was inspired by an original love song. Tammy, a songwriter, wrote Jeff a song titled, "Lucky Me." The pair chose to incorporate this phrase throughout their wedding day.

Also inspired by the illustrious wedding featured in the hit Blockbuster film, Twilight, the couple utilized a subdued romantic color palette of pale green, ivory and gold. Alex King of Front Porch Farms and AK Events & Design brought their vision to life with enchanting white florals and mixed greenery. While Music City Tents & Events provided white wash farm tables and chairs, making the space feel fresh and natural.

Following an idyllic rooftop ceremony, guests made their way downstairs for the reception. A custom seating chart by White Ink Calligraphy incorporating records and guitar picks was a fun twist on the traditional escort card. Chocolate guitars by Nashville Chocolate & Nut Company sat at each place setting alongside a CD takeaway of "Lucky Me."  We love using these kinds of unique details to bring out the fun personalities of our couples.

After dinner, guests returned to the 4th floor for dancing and mingling. We transformed the space into a cozy oasis with white soft seating and fireplaces to ensure guests felt right at home. With a custom GOBO reading "Lucky Me" beautifully illuminating The Pedestrian Bridge, guests enjoyed the expansive evening views of the city and celebrated into the night with Tammy and Jeff.

We helped Ashley and Evan tie the knot at the gorgeous Church of the Assumption, and ended with a fun and elegant wedding reception at The Bridge Building. We love planning off-site as well!

Following the ceremony, guests were directed to the riverfront of The Bridge Building for cocktail hour. DJ AyDamn played some light tunes as the sun was just beginning to set behind the skyline. We couldn't have asked for better weather! Guests enjoyed passed hors d'oeuvres and wine at the open bar decorated with comfortable lounge furniture.

After their arrival, Ashley and Evan had a receiving line to thank each and every guest for attending their special day. Food stations were scattered throughout, and the cake was placed in the center, creating a magnificent focal point for the room. Can we talk about how gorgeous it was?! Thanks, Dulce!

Following dinner, the formal dances, and the cake cutting, guests made their way up to the rooftop patio to get the dance party started! Thanks to DJ AyDamn, not a soul left the dance floor for the rest of the night, unless it was to get a slice of the Groom's cake!

Ashley and Evan were sent off by a crowd of sparklers as they hopped into a vintage car provided by Matchless Transportation, with champagne & chocolate covered strawberries. It was the perfect ending to a fabulous night with such a fun group of people!

We had such a fun time celebrating Alex with this baseball themed bar mitzvah at OZ Arts Nashville. He had everything from grass table runners to inflatable baseball games to chain link fencing for décor. Even the dance floor was personalized to look like a baseball field, and Nashville Audio Visual created a marquee sign to read “Alex’s Dugout.”

Likewise, the menu was completely customized by the Infinity Hospitality culinary team to incorporate baseball snack essentials like Cracker Jacks and Coca-Cola.

Kids picked from a selection of mini hot dogs with a variety of toppings like mac n’ cheese and caramel fried jalapeño cracker jacks, as well as mini pretzels with cheese and build-your-own nachos. Plus, there was an ice cream sundae bar for dessert.

While the kids snacked on mini bites, the adults enjoyed a plated dinner with many fun twists on traditional baseball game eats. The meal started with a salad of mixed greens topped with boiled peanuts and a Cracker Jack vinaigrette. For the main entree, guests chose from Coca-Cola brined pretzel-crusted chicken or cheddar encrusted filet with a whole grain mustard horseradish sauce. Some of the snack inspired sides included fire roasted creamed corn, popcorn risotto, and beer roasted brussels sprouts.

Overall, the entire event was a blast! Scroll for more details of the day.

Centerpieces of classic books, teacups overflowing with flowers, and "painting the roses red" bouquets set the tone for the Shah's Alice in Wonderland inspired baby shower. An archway of lush greenery with vibrant flowers welcomed guests to go "down the rabbit hole." Lauren Marie Atkinson Designs really knocked it out of the park!

After ceremonial traditions, dances and speeches, lunch was served. Guests enjoyed fun Asian fusion stations with sushi, spring rolls, lettuce wraps, dumplings, red curry, rice, and more.

Congratulations to mom and father-to-be, Shamini and Mikul! A wonderful conclusion to their weekend in Nashville celebrating their baby girl.

Bridge-Building-Baby-Shower_2

Where did you get your inspiration and how did you bring it to life?

We currently live in Scottsdale, Arizona, but my husband’s family lives in Tennessee. We wanted to do something different than the other baby showers in the family and to show the out of town guests Nashville.

I have always been a fan of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and was excited to do a themed party.  I am someone who is very detailed oriented, and I knew exactly what I wanted.  When I sent the description and pictures to Brittany, she brought it to life in an inspiration board that was more than I could have hoped for and within the budget.

What were some of the highlights of your day?

I loved the table decorations and the entrance way. That wowed me and was perfect for an afternoon event.

I and my guests thoroughly enjoyed the photo booth, especially since it was self-managed and can be texted/emailed immediately to you.  It was in the perfect location...so no one missed out on fun pictures and backgrounds of their choosing.

Also, the food was delicious.  We were concerned about not being able to use outside catering, but we found there was no reason to when you have such a delicious selection.  We are vegetarian and some of our guests have strict requirements on taste and they were able to cater to all of our needs.  I was completely impressed by the service of the staff in making sure all the food stations were full.

Alice in Wonderland photo booth backdrop

How did you choose your venue?

We looked at about 30 venues in Nashville, and we were looking for something unique that kept with the theme. We also wanted something that represented or showed off the South.

It was a difficult feat, because we were looking at venues online with no idea how it was in person. When we had it narrowed down to 5, none of which were The Bridge Building, my cousin flew down to check out venues.

After rejecting all 5 choices for different reasons, she told me she was going to this venue to see how it looked. She did not go inside, but was able to take pictures and videos and we loved it.

It catered to all our specific needs and the event planner made things 1000 times easier. I’m someone who micro manages, and it was a delight to not have to worry.

What was your experience like planning the shower?

Not being from Nashville and wanting to show family and friends who flew in from different parts of the world, I was very impressed by the people who helped me plan the actual shower.

I believe we showed off Nashville at its finest and had amazing food and drinks. We did a tasting with the chef that put us more at ease and they were able to work with us for all our needs.

Do you have any tips for others planning an event?

Trust the planner. We dissected the bill, questioned everything and in the end, everything that was suggested by the staff was an excellent choice and what we needed.

If you get to caught up in the minutia, it can ruin the reason you are having this event, to have fun!  Let the experts do what they do best so that way you can enjoy your event!
